ha while i was not exactly staring, it kept drawing my eyes.

The first episode was pretty cool, I really liked the art style, reminded me of the Ookami game, a tiny little female version of Yukimura is kind of interesting, especially having just finished Sengoku Basara 2 a few weeks ago.

Ep 2 had lots o' action & lol's, especially with Yukimura...I wonder if we'll be hearing "urusai! urusai! urusai!" at some point?

The artwork is unique, which is fine, but the ink blots can be a bit annoying.

Good episode, really liked the first real battle of the series, especially the ink usage and the slow motion. But not everything has to be action and fanservice, so a good amount of story info was revealed as well.

Comedy bits were enjoyable too. Jubei's "normal" form is adorable. And also Sen's tsun-tsun mode

But I wonder why Muneakira was so scared or Jubei? Something related to his samurai code, perhaps?

With Muneakira maybe it's related to his code. It could also be that he's been so focused on his samurai role and training that he has had little interaction with girls besides Sen. With the whole chanting thing I think he feels girls will corrupt his pure samurai state or something . More simply you could just all it an ailment common to most harem leads.

The second episode was pretty good. I liked the action though wish they didn't put the ink blots over things after every clash. It has a nice artistic feel, but sometimes it can get obstructive and annoying. Hopefully they find a good balance that doesn't overdo it.

Bit surprised about Sen being Muneakira's childhood friend. Though from the preview it sounds more like childhood slave . Too bad for Sen that she's interested in him since he is a pretty super serious guy.

I got nothing wrong with sexy girls in moderation. But after watching these two episodes...well, its just way, way overdone.

And the sig is sexy, yes, but it is also relevant to the character. There is a reason why Erza is usually clad in armor. She's not very open about herself in the beginning of the series, but later on that changes and I wanted to show that in the sig - but also make it sexy and bad ass at the same time.

Anyway, there is a lot more being covered then just ink blots over her nipples. >.>

I can see that they have things in common, but there are even more and fundamental differences with any of the above to call them similar.

Lols. DBZ referrence with the over 9000! Except it was 5million haha. The art style present in this series seem a bit refreshing and new. But I have to agree with some other here when I say the ink splats are annoying not just because they sensor the nudity but the are distracting and take away from the actual art.

Anyways the series should be interesting.

You forgot Tenjou Tenge, Zettai Shougeki for fighting women (ecchi variant); while Pandora Hearts, Zero no Tsukaima for the kiss contract

But interesting take on what makes two shows similar ... is sharing one or two troupes
