Except that the Chinese tech tree appears to be rather linear for quite a while. |

Yeah, the thing is this. I'm not especially enthusiastic about a new tank line which consists mainly of hand-me-downs, requisitioned goods and home-modded stuff. Even the French line had their own identity of sorts.
Think I'll probably hawk off the Chinese starter and take the free slot. Not real interested in going up that line. |

No, we're getting them about 13 hours from now in NA.
I'm simply going to play the Tier I to Elite it (and maybe even win some gold in the process? ). Whether I'll actually continue on the line or sell it for a free slot depends on how I feel about the tank. |

Vehicle: Cromwell Experience received: 3,854 (x2 for the first victory each day) Credits received: 52,577 Was .1 sec from getting the last Top Gun shot. I notice that low tiers are really greedy on letting people get Top Gun. In my experience with higher tier (7+) games though, i would say about 90% will let you get the Top Gun kill. I've had too many low tier games where they would ram you, grind you or push you to mess up the aiming preventing your TG kills. I usually check their stats after game are they're all guys with under 1k games. |

Some of the extra stuff -- premium status, exp conversion and tank customization (season camo patterns, flags etc) -- cost gold, which costs money. 6500 gold is about 29.95 US dollars for example. And let's not get into gold-exclusive tanks like the German Lowe, which costs 11,500-odd gold.
It's very feasible to play through the game as a penny-pincher though.

I don't fancy myself a person who spend money on this game, yet I've spent at least $40 on it, probably more since my Type 62 was half of that. That's a pretty large amount considering most other games I actually bought were usually about $10 a piece.
