Well, they established most of Lina's weaknesses or fears in the last episode, with one glaring exception. Points to whomever can guess what that is exactly.

Did anyone else feel like "Inspector" Wizer is inspired by, or even parodies, Lieutenent Columbo from the Tv series (played by Peter Falk) what with the trenchcoat, seemingly silly questions, playing the fool, and with the "just one more question"?

Well she was a little tied up at the moment . Oh yes the good old "that time of the month" problem. I can't recall, but has that even been an issue in the series other than during that part of season 1?

Nope. Never mentioned again. It's a real shame.

Spoiler for :

It's very neat though how this series goes on a bi-weekly deal, where it's story/filler/story/filler. I've never seen it done before, and I think it'd be pretty neat to do for future series that are doing manga/anime side by side as long as they have the correct art style (STUPID light hearted types)

Amelia stopped screwing up in Next for the most part. She might not be out of character...for the most part, but they also aren't using her all that effectively either. Both her and Zel seem like they're there just for the sake of being there.

yeah that true. both of them like a filler character ( they being there just to please their fan )

if both of the come out like xelloss that would be nice
what i meat is, no need for both of them to come out in the very beginning.
if their come out in very crucial moment that would be cool.

for me that was a mistake to include them
( I like to see lina travel with new companion "Luke, Milina" )

I think that sort of thing was handled well in the first season. After that major battle Zel vanished for a while. Only appearing some episodes later when the situation was serious and he could help out.

Since Zel is one of my favourite characters in the series I am glad they put him in there. Though would have liked him better utilized rather than it feeling like he was there just to please fans.

Through episode 10,I find Gourry is smarter than before cause he knows what the vocabulary husband means.Unlike he was in the Next when green-haired Maruchina (maybe I spell wrong) claimed Gourry was her boyfriend,Gourry didn't get what boyfriend was.

I am surprised that almost noone commented on Episode 7, where Zuuma made his debut. It was a good episode with a great battle, a much needed respite from the disaster of Episode 6.

Episode 8 is saved by the conversation between Xelloss and Inspector Wizer. Wizer seems to be the only one in the series who can take Xelloss' "himitsu-desu" and throw it back with an interest. "My popularity among the court ladies will soar!" LOL.

Another season was officially confirmed.

Won't be starting in the autumn (Revolution ends at 13), but JCStaff rarely (ie, never) announces a new show more than a season or two in advance, so I'd lay hard money down on Winter.

I'm almost finally caught up with all the Slayers stuff, I got just half of Slayer's Try to go.

How's the new season so far? I've enjoyed the old Slayers quite a bit so far but I'm kinda worried that the new season might be butchered due to JC Staff's nack for butchering stuff lately. I haven't read the novels yet either.

So is it any good?

No. You're about to experience four to six episodes of Try that pretty much represent what is typical of Revolution.
