He appears in Prisma Illya as an adult, and looks much like he does here. Also, given his canon position at the Clock Tower post-Zero is well known, we knew to be looking for him.

Though personally, I was hoping they'd give us a Flat Escardos cameo, too... ^_^

Archer comes from a different timeline than Shirou. The Shirou from the timeline who originally became Archer is indeed stuck in an endless loop, but Shirou from UBW is unrelated to that. As long as he doesn't make a contract, he won't become a Guardian. Similarily the Shirou's from the other routes of the VN are also yet other timelines.

Maybe not. It's never been confirmed whether Guardian EMIYA was summoned to his own timeline's 5GW. I believe all we know for certain about that iteration is that EMIYA!Shirou summoned Saber, and that Medea was Caster.

I don't feel like starting that whole debate all over again, so I'll give you a maybe on that. There's nothing saying Archer's original timeline didn't have the same Archer either though.

That's why I said "maybe" not. It is true that he could have made an appearance in his actual own past. There doesn't have to be a "pre-EMIYA" timeline, especially since the Throne of Heroes exists outside of time.

Of course, True Assassin's appearance in HF shows that not every iteration of the 5GW has to, or even will, have the same set of Servants. The only reason that our three routes are so similar is because they all start the same way, up to a certain point.

My post wasn't about the Archer of Archer!Shirou's timeline though, but about the fact that Archer!Shirou is doomed to be a Guardian forever, while UBW!Shirou is not.

You say that, but maybe his stance towards being one might change due to his experiences in UBW. (I know they don't actually retain their memories, but he should get "the infodump" of whenever he is summoned.)

Why did you make him and Sakura appear like normal siblings at the end ,especially you ARE making the Heaven's Feel movie later?
I'm pretty sure no one would mind If you let him go insane or some sort

indeed, especially since Shinji is still probably raping Sakura under his Grandfather's orders, and Sakura will still go insane in couple of years now that her only tie to sanity (shirou) left. Having them act like siblings just feels weird

If Shinji did rape Sakura in UFO UBW and her reaction was unconditional support, Sakura might be far more broken than I thought.

Though I kinda see this girl as someone who experiences extreme degree of emotions be it ruthlessness, hatred or kindness. So, I think, in her head, she might still want to fix things up with Shinji and it makes sense for her to do that.

Yeah, it's true. Actually, I enjoy their intercatio in manga where he apologize to Sakiyura and promised to make up for the past.

But the true problem there is Zouken and this gut definetly didn't amend his ways in UBW.
