Though it looks that I will lose some respect for this show eventually.

its possible to take proper screenshots if you take multiple ones and then use eachother to fill the space used by the text..

I thought all wimpy male harem leads were able to take an abnormal amount of punishment. Its to make up for their lack strength. So Tsukune has like 0 offensive ability but his defense has to be like a thousand.

That was my guess after thinking about what type of creature can take human form with glowing eyes like that. Yea your got it pretty much right werewolves are as strong as vampires with very little weaknesses. If the vampires are royalty of the monster world the werewolves are soldiers. They dont have the ability to control lesser monsters like the vampires do.

Well in fiction warewolves are usually expressed as equal enemies with vampires (arch nemesis or whatever) so that is another explination in terms of power base. Hopefully he will do something cool as the new ED suggests...lets start with him ripping some evil monster in half

it's flat-out declared that the vampires are the strongest predators in the monster world for the simple reason that they infuse every gram of their body with pure energy siphoned from the surroundings - and the only way to defeat them is to sprinkle or douse them with water, which short-circuits their 'power-feeding' ability.

Now, although vampires are seemingly THE bosses of this world, hybrids and other 'exotic' opponents can still give Moka and Tsukune a hard time, as shown by the 'Antithesis', 'Ghost Ranch' and 'Ghoul' arcs. Not to mention that they'rell still teenagers. If Moka were to go against an adult vampire, I'm not sure she'd be able to hold her ground.

As for the werewolf character, well, considering

Gin's character, there isn't much to fear about him except the fact that he'll cause Tsukune an episodic moment of trouble but after that he'll become an ally. But he's pretty much a background character like Nekonome-sensei.
