Now, why did they not finish of Cecily instantly? I don't expect those airheads to know what diplomatic issues killing off a hot, cosplaying maid with airbags would cause.
Of course, that look Luke gave to Cecily right at the end was !

^I <3 the last Lisa one, that's SOOOOO kawaii XD.
Another thing this ep points out is how well-known Luke is. To be so great that a Princess from an empire would want you, not to mention Luke being wanted in the big meeting from the Abrais's(or whatever the trade city's name is) top officials, he must be pretty famous. |

Holy shit. Did Luke's face break in this episode?
Also Luke, you're such an amateur at being a Big Damn Hero. Where's the dynamic entry? Where's the clever one-liner?

This episode is crazy lol. First Cecily gets attacked by a flaming claymore, a red lightstaff and a dagger, then her companions start throwing her funny looks.
Still it is interesting to see Luke smile at least for once (or was that an evil grin?) and Aria having that disturbing lesbian look in her eyes. This can't be any better.

That looks more like a Pudao. She just has a ranged magic attack that she uses with it, like Aria's wind attack.

Nice addition of more cute girls in ep. 6. It was nice to see Cecily hold up so well against the odds.

Episode 5 was nice because it forced Luke into seeing her as more of a girl. The scene of the two of them walking home together was really sweet. You gotta' give Cecily some credit for pushing him in that direction. I think Luke is being set up to fall for Cecily, though. Not so sure about the yuri thing between Cecily and Aria. There may be overtones, but I don't see that getting serious. I could be wrong, of course.

Yeah, I looked up the naginata, too. The blade on that looked slender and the article says they usually have a tsuba (hand guard) which Margot's weapon doesn't have. Her weapon has a much heavier looking blade, more like the pudao.
Maybe it's a hybrid. Like you said, though, they are both basically the same type of weapon.

Best episode yet, IMO - loved Cecily not being annoying, and Luke's evil grin was worth the price of admission. But is it just me, or is this anime obsessed with food? Seems like every ep treats us to a scene or two of busty lolis gorging themselves.
The reason for Luke's pleasure is understandable enough - "See how you like a bunch of people gorging themselves at your expense, for a change!"

I'm starting to hate Cecily. Her character being naive is being displayed too much. I mean come on, how many times can she under estimate her opponents before she actually takes them seriously? When she was defeated, she started taking them seriously.
If she does this for the rest of the story, it's going to be such a pain. |
