That mean the high rank above him is the Vintage member. Beside, if you read the chapter carefully, you will see that someone eavesdropping their conversation. |

Ramping up the tension! Way to go, Haqua. I don't think Keima really wants to face the goddesses off against Vintage searchers just yet.
I wonder how far up Vintage goes. Maybe a lot of the devils at the top are Vintage. They just keep their operations undercover so heaven doesn't realize. Or maybe just a few top devils are Vintage but they're very influential. |

Regarding ch 151....
I have been wondering for a while now ... I wonder if somehow Fiore will change her ways and "join Keima's faction" (a la Touma of Majutsu Index)? Another possibility is that Nora may help out Keima ... I would not be surprised if Nora had in fact received instruction from Keima on her current course of action (Keima predicting it as a possibility), nor would I be surprised if it were "Nora's turn" to help Keima out as a buddy while Elsie is off replacing Kanon. Feel sorry for Haqua actually ... I don't think she is particularly "stupid", just trusting and inexperienced. That does not imply stupidity at all.

There's a 85% Chief Dokuro isn't part of Vintage.

I am also inclined to think she is not part of vintage, but I think she might already know of vintage's existence and is wondering what to do about it while doing her job at the same time. Somehow the impression I got was that she was walking a fine line and having a difficult time doing so and was sad to see that Haqua might be embracing the same difficulties as well....

I agree Dokuro pretended not to hear. I think she was trying to shield Haqua from deeper politics that involve Vintage and high rank devils.
Wishing a devil like Haqua could climb to the top someday? Dokuro doesn't like how the upper ranks in Hell work. I like how Nora is showing some cunning. I hope we get to see some of the deeper workings of hell. |

Am I the only person who was flabbergasted when Dokuro revealed she was actually a woman?
Then again there was evidence to support it. The fact we haven't seen a single male devil yet and the fact Dokuro is nothing but a skeleton initially specified no certain gender for her. I wonder if Wakaki devised his own policy for this series to have absolutely no male characters whatsoever aside from Keima and background ones? Anyway, with Haqua's arrest and Keima's currently paralyzed state, I can only wonder what's gonna get them out of this mess. And Nora might become a double-agent or not, but the way she acted about joining Vintage didn't seem incredibly convincing to me, so I'm going with the double-agent theory. Being a horned devil herself will probably make things even more interesting too. I'd like to see Wakaki do a little more world building. We hardly know anything about Hell so I personally think that would be interesting to see.~

Well, this is not a manga where heads are mounted on pikes, so I'm not particularly worried. Haqua's move wasn't the smartest but she does trust the chief without question and didn't consider the possibility of eavesdropping. Meanwhile, Keima is only one goddess short of a full set and most if not all of them got their wings too. If push comes to shove he can kiss them again to power them up even more... if I were him I would consider doing more to them but this is a family friendly manga

Nora does what is best for Nora, but I doubt her belifs are in line with old hell and Vintage. She may be Double-agent but I don't see her being any help to them.
I'm 100% sure Dokuro isn't part of Vintage. Why? Because Keima was hand picked by her as an Ace in the hole. Thinking on it I bet the real reason for the collors is not to keep the humans in line but to keep the Devils from doing what vintage wants. They create some one the demon can't kill who's best intrest is to make sure vintage never gets what they want.

When I read someone saying outside the spoilers "stupid Haqua" I thought it was going to be a lot more frustrating than this.
She's naive, yes, but for some reason I wasn't at all annoyed. She just wasn't careful enough about the eavesdropping, and she didn't stupidly reveal Keima's role or the goddesses' presence. I still like her just fine. Nora on the other hand is surprisingly becoming more likeable with that clever move -- it's obvious she isn't turning villain on us and is just playing it close. Oh Wakaki, he can't allow us to have even one female character to dislike (so when's that Vintage girl's turn?). P.S. I didn't realize Skull is a woman until I read this thread. Am I slow or am I just really slow? |

She reported information about the Vintage to the Chief that she thought she could trust. In fact, there is no evidence to suggest that the Chief is one of the Vintage yet. It is just Nora's theory. The people who captured Haqua are unrelated to the Chief. It is entirely possible that it was someone else who ordered Haqua's capture. If anything, I find Midas more suspicious than the Chief, but who knows, we don't have enough information about the Chief and Midas right now. Unlike the time that with Fio, Haqua is a lot more cautious this time. While she can be too trusting sometimes, I can't help but find that to be Haqua's charm. <: |

I dont know what to think.
To me it seems like she still doesnt trust God enough. Or maybe her longlive achievement of entering the capture squad, just doesnt let her alone. Im a bit dissapointed. But she is Haqua so I exoect her to redeem herself soon enough. |

Keima would be a fool -not- to think that someone from Vintage might try to get Fiore back. I'd like to think that he expected some kind of conspiracy going on and predicting Hakua reporting to her supierors and getting detained that would lead to said rescue attempt, but perhaps that's a stretch....
I also got to thinking, since Dokuro said there were no men in new hell, but wishes she got married earlier, perhaps it was a kind of gender war between old and new hell? |
