at least give me something to search on . I am just curious what happened to him. I am not going to harass him or anything.

On another note, Nijisanji are finally creating an anti-doxxing team

https://www.ichikara.co.jp/news/1415/

What they really need are cyber security specialists though. Might be beyond the price range for these kinds of companies admittedly

Cover did learn from the Aloe situation and is getting some Youtube channels taken down by sending Cease and desist letters such as this one.

Anti power base is in futaba, and I’ll be surprised if Cover or Ichikara can put up an actual resistance

They’re much worse than 4chan

Fuck Cover for choosing the Chinese market over Coco and Haachama simply for mentioning Taiwan. This clearly shows where their policies lie.

my disappointment is unmeasurable

I mean.. this move might sacrifice whole international market

but if I take it positively, maybe this is the good time for Coco and Haachama to take a rest a bit
They have carried the company quite hard
so they compromise a bit

still I hate that politics are everywhere nowadays

on other good news, Suisei hit 500k subs today

NMSlese are largely non-achieving failures like idol otaku anw. What's in common is that Cover whore themselves out to them entirely. Hololive CN was a downright mistake

Also, why do I think this isn't due to state action but rather the same troll farm that hit Pekora? Particularly when you consider that Bilibili is essentially CN version of 2ch. Doubly pathetic move on Cover's part if it were

This also clearly means Cover thinks some customers are more worthy than others.

Wasn't Coco on Nikkei Business news recently

By picking this route, Cover has made sure that this incident will be picked up by mainstream Japanese news and get the attention of Japan's own netouyo right wing faction.

Retire, Yagoo

edit:

also Taiwan has its own currency. It's own government and it's own military that is actually experiencing military tension with mainland China, right now.
How are they not different countries.

People are saying it's to protect the Hololive CN members from state persecution.....Uh, I don't think the CCP is that dumb to go after them considering how many foreign companies are still the PRC. It would set a very bad precedent. Especially as it would show how the CCP can be bossed around by net trolls.

And on the off chance they do, Cover could just cut ties with them to protect them

This is literally bending to internet trolls. Like how Cover does all the time

EDIT:

LMAO. Imagine having Cover's official logo and "Hololive" in your channel name only for it to turn out to be a sock puppet account of Bilibili trolls

Spoiler:

News made daytime Taiwanese TV

which probably means it is impossible to de-escalate this now.

Not that it seemed that likely from the start. The wumao were looking for blood. Anti-chinese sentiments are running high, AND jets are flying near the Taiwanese border right now.

Will this be the thing that tears Cover apart?

It was just a very brief report. One of many such things Taiwan media reports all the time.

Non-VTuber community people won't care

I'm more amazed that normal PRC Chinese are fighting NMSlese via VPN on Coco's channel in defense of her....it's surreal

EDIT: NMSlese baboons claiming to be in Japan issuing death threats to Coco on Twitter. JPs have lodged police report.

One thing I'll agree with those NMSlese though, is that Cover should just leave Bilibili and the PRC market entirely. Nothing good ever came out from that toxic relationship

Things are actually quite cooling down

Gawr Gura put one of the best karaoke stream ever.. inviting Yagoo in there... and even dedicating two songs for Kiryu Coco
and she got no backlash the Chinese community is wary over her

Speaking of singing.....

Here's an actual singer who decided to try out the whole VTubing thing. None other than Katakiri Rekka herself (best known as the singer for the first Higurashi anime.....but mainly followed for her game music)

Singing any project ali song is a huge flex and marine sung it well. I am deeply impressed.

On another note Hololive CN is being disbanded. Though, the talents are apparently allowed to keep their avatars if they go indie. That’s actually very nice for corporate moral standards

I do wonder this also means that hololive is pulling out if bilibili.

Is so than wow. Congratulations on the self own wumao

Marine's voice is very suited to Ali Pro's style. People don't usually count her or Mio as among their top singers which is unfortunate, but Marine's voice is ideal for certain kinds of songs. I hope that ALICE unit with Sora she's part of releases more stuff soon

Hololive singers in general aren't anywhere near top class (obviously)....but they are damn well in the baby stages of making it to those ranks should they carry on this industry in future. Definitely far better musically than the average idol girl group on TV
