Actually my favorites band are:
L'Arc~en~Ciel ELLEGARDEN Asian Kung Fu Generation Janne Da Arc Siam Shade I like their styles, but those band are too different between them like L'Arc~en~Ciel and ELLEGARDEN, too different styles xD And of course some band from my country, it'll be useless to say them because they aren't so famous as to be known in others countries

I don't really have a favorite group, it more depends on songs themselves... but there are those bands whose biggest part of songs I like so I guess I could call them faves, that would be:
Linkin Park Breaking Benjamin Skillet Within Temptation Evanescence

Less Than Jake
Mostly pre-Borders and Boundaries, though there have been good songs on the later album, and their recent GNV FLA album sounds like a return to that original Third Wave Ska sound from what I've heard. The Protomen Both albums so far have been pure genius. They operate well in a variety of styles, and they're quite talented as musicians and especially as lyrical storytellers. The Beatles If I need to explain this one, you need to get out more. Asian Kung-Fu Generation Though there were a couple numbers on their most recent album that fell flat with me, the vast majority of their catalog really gets me fired up. Very solid indie-punk. The Pillows A long-running act with a lot of very good songs and a number of truly rocking gems. More recent albums feel a bit tired overall, but they manage to churn out some worthy songs every single time. Go in for their older stuff, where they were still stylistically schizophrenic.
