That Sae set things straight with Youtarou being LK was a good thing to see. As for the absurdities this time, my favourite one has to be every scene involving Shirohime. Of course, Yufeng had some nice scenes as well. I have no idea how the hell she destroyed the hot spring nor do I want to know how she had a hard time carrying the rocks she pulverized just before. It was also hilarious to see her tarzan through the forest.

This time I didn't enjoy Yoriko too much. Her lashing out was mostly unreasonable to me. Then again it's about time I stopped being a tsukkomi and point out everything that seems unreasonable in this series.

A very nice episode. Loved the part where Yotaro blushed when he saw Makio naked
A shame there was so much fog though.

Wow, this week's episode is like all over the place. From fantasy stories about Lancer Heroes with childish drawings to actual fighting and then the chief almost "dominating" over Yotaro...

Not much else to say for me. Also a good advice is to not get on the maid's bad side.

I think the Chief is trying to stop whatever happened to Yotaro's father from happening to him. She could have just kept him on the island if she wanted him but it was only after she learned that he received his father's lance that she had him kidnapped.

And it looks like we are going to have a battle between the loli and the grandma next week.

That doesn't explain her repeated demands that he agree to be her property/possession. That's just plain creepy, even if not for the fact that she's one of those incredibly intimidating supermassive tank women you occasionally see in fantasy. To quote from a well-known improv show, that woman would snap your neck like a praying mantis. If someone like that demanded that I belong to her, I'd start looking for ways to make poisons and slip them into her food, because that's the only way I'd ever get away from her. And don't go calling me a psychopath, we all know that a poison would have to be strong enough to instantly kill an elephant just to slow her down for a couple minutes. The woman looks like she could juggle whales.

Yeah I know Alice is being trained by Yotaro and Yoriko, but it was surprisingly to see her beat Yufeng so easily.

People that are loners are usually stronger because they have no real hope of life so they can do anything without consequences and just recklessly charges in and do maximum blows even if they'll get injured.

Yufeng become calmer and kinder after meeting Makio and the Knight Lancer.

Being calmer at times can also be strong, however most times calmer means you take in questions of the battle and it will slow you down.


Plus, they don't really want to hurt each other anyways... lol


PS: OMG, they made the loli cry, that's super-effective. There is no resistance against this.
PSS: did Dorgon not age? he looks the same as in the Flashback when Yotaro's younger...


As for Yoriko... she's the definition of Stronger when Calm... just look at her, she's frikin scary when she's silently mad.

I think she wants to form the same kind of pact that Makio's mother had with Yotaro's father. But she does not want to explain it to Yotaro so she is trying to force it.

I'm pretty sure he's male. Both the English and Japanese wiki call him a boy. Could be a trap, and I'm suspecting as much after the way he reacted in the bath, but for now I'm going to have to assume the most recent wiki editors know what they're talking about and Yuyan just has some sort of gymnophobia. We'll see I'm sure.
What I really want though is to meet Youtarou's childhood friend who ran away after he kissed her hand. I really want to know what she thought about him at the time, why she ran, and what she feels about him and the action today. I strongly suspect that she didn't really come to "hate" him the way he thinks; after all, at such a young age feelings are complex, but a kiss on the hand should not be enough to inspire hate, anger or offense for most people so young unless there are other complicated emotions involved.
Additionally, I for one don't terribly mind Sae's "pervert" shtick. It's a little dumb and cliché, but I saw it coming for some time so I pretty much expected her to become a "punisher" (I don't know if there's a real name for the "tsundere" type that is largely built on "punishing" perversion, so I'm just going with that). I'm sure she'll mellow out bit by bit and focus a bit more on trying to help him pursue whatever path he wants.

so this time, it is not Knight Lancer that would save someone... but he would be saved by Silver Lancer and Rose Lancer instead
Well, I'm looking forward to see Yoriko become serious in the fight.. since the chief is afraid of her, she possibly could defeat the 4 Gods easily

Aside from being surprised about Yuyan's gender, I seriously almost think the chief as man... Muscle-old woman... damn! she almost become a good reverse-trap there

This episode felt a bit rushed though.
