Well... yeah. But beyond that, I mean. Bear with me for a second. The anime went to great lengths to emphasize that official coils are safe because of the restrictions placed on them: they are unable to "penetrate" into Dimension W, only drawing power from the surface area. In contrast, the numbers are dangerous because they are practically running without any limiters, in worst case creating stable connections to realities that failed to occur for some reason. The coil at the dam for example, it could sustain an alternate reality for 21 years - and possibly even longer, had Mira not shut it down. My pet theory is that with enough numbered coils, one could affect which what-if scenario becomes reality and which gets folded into Dimension-W - essentially shaping reality. For someone up against a globe-spanning corporation with almost limitless power, that would surely be an enticing prospect... |

Episode 9:
Interesting, Funimation's Dimension W episode actually is less censored than the TV version. (from what I remember anyway) Good episode, really liked the way the background storytelling is done about Salva. Not only that, we get to see more how Kyouma's past has connection with some of the present events. This episode also felt like a battle of Kyouma's personal demons. Seameyer's really a diabolical character. This show also proves that science can be a very deadly force when fallen into the wrong hands. Also interesting to note about why Kyouma dislikes Mira at times, not because he finds her to be annoying but because her body structure reminds him of Miyabi (not just her by the looks of it).

Well, they all bet spelled out that Mirai is Miyabi (at least in some ways). Now we know that the body was originally for Miyabi, and that she believed she had a long life after some sort of break... Cricket had also stated that Mirai's mind is too complex for a robot, almost human-like. At this point I want to see how Kyoma will react when he realizes himself... ponketsu, eh?
(If that DOES happen to be the case, then it makes me wonder why the doctors hid the truth from Kyoma. Judging by how Mirai has no memories other than her robot-life, it's possible the 'transfer' of Miyabi wasn't a complete success... and Dr Seira preferred Kyoma to believe Miyabi dead rather than know she became a somewhat-alike robot. Rather be the doctor of a failed operation than one who created a frankeinsten, perhaps?) Also, Loser uses numbered coils. Feels funny to see it confirmed so soon. EDIT: Before I forget, dat ending doesn't leave me optimistic. Mirai facing off against a combat machine? Sure, she's strong and somewhat durable... but she hasn't shown much competency in combat so far. Kyoma better wake up soon. Last edited by dienrachen; 2016-03-06 at 10:02. What an amazing episode this time.
Basically Loser is one of the scientists involved in the experiments related to the Dimension W, his wife too and Shimeyer was behind that all the time. For now seems like Kyouma's girlfriend is on the same place as Shimeyer going against him, glad to see her is still there considering only her head is floating in that universe. Now Mira knows the truth and Kyouma is finally getting all his memories back about what happened, I hope he finally realize Mira is literally his girlfriend even when she's not the same person at 100%. |

Actually Kyouma has always known that Mira's robot body originally belongs to Miyabi, or Dr Seira's other robot body speciment similiar to Miyabi's robot body. Thats why Kyouma always been rough on Mira.
