As expected, Really?Really!'s on the top 10 last year..
And C.D.C.D.'s comparatively high on the chart for a fandisk..

Plus a 40K gap between the 10th and the 1st. Woah. :P

Looking at the field, the biggest jump must be between D.C.II and Really? Really!...

That's like one year earlier than expected.

I got my Gekkou no Carnevale the other day.

After a couple of hours this is without doubt the best game I got my hands on since MuvLuv Alt (not that the rest of 2006 was *that* great). I grew really fond of Shinya Ohsakis artwork in Unknown's Abandoner, but he has gotten that much better since then and is definately among my favourites. I also like games taking place at different locations like, in this case, an italian inspired city rather than your average japanese smalltown. Throw in a werewolf lead, living dolls (automatae), music by Zizz (who also improve every time) and you get a pretty, so far, interesting product. Nitro+ has a nice habbit of having a male lead that stands out by being shown and also is voiced. And Romeo is really interesting, being voiced by Tomokazu Sugita an all. His conversations with Anna are a hit each time.

Anna is totally adoreable:

I'm pretty sure I'll have a good time with this one.

Well, the release date of Clannad was initially announced to be 2002...... Anyway, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Wow, that's surprising... would've thought they'd go for ero again. Oh well, I'm not complaining, but I may be in the minority

MORE motivation to get back to studying!

It gives them a "reason" to bring out a fandisc with pornographic content later on.
But, in my opinion, Key's games are better off without it.

*dreams of a portable version for DSlite* I could do without voice so it could be possible...

I've only played the demo version of Gekkou no Carnavale, it's really nice to see Tomokazu Sugita take on darker hero roles. His narration voice is excellent, sadly though it didn't seem like he uses it much in the game since it's in the 3rd POV~

The tsukkomi-boke between Anna and Romeo is just to die for ^^

So it IS him. That tsukkomi voice and that 「いや待って」 just screamed Sugita-san to me during the demo.
So he uses the name "Kayama Michinobu" for 18+ games, huh.

Maybe I'll buy it, I'm interested in his ero voice.

You people and your lightning-speed news.

I gave out a sigh of relief at the all ages rating. I think something in me would break if I had to watch Kudo in an ero scene.

Besides, seeing the Dengeki G's 4-coma comics, you can tell Riki is not exactly fit to be an eroge male lead anyway, with that kind of personality (in a good way).

The game's info page has been updated with a new top illust and 1 screenshot as well:

6 more months!
I mean, 6 more months + α (delays)!

You just want a complete Kyon-styled narration of the event, don't you?

How interesting and different that would be...

I said "1 screenshot" didn't I? ^^;

I'm was able to get my little buster fix by buying Dengeki G's every month and reading those official little buster SS and comics.... although the SS series came to an end with the latest issue. Understandable though, since there's a release date now, there's a lot more pressure on the staff to complete the game in time.

========
Don't really have much free time to play anything recently, but still managing to work through Kanishino little by little (haven't touched it for the past week though). I wonder how many more months it'll take to finish it.

Currently working through Tonoko's story...

Just some general comments after finishing Shino's story,
Spoiler:
Speaking of which, the official site is holding a popularity contest.

Gekkou no Carnevale (Nitro+)
- great art, promising demo, I'm always sucker for more darker games with european settings, hope this won't disappoint

Example
Dai Ban Cho -Big Bang Age-
Dungeon Crusaders
恋姫†無双 (Although leaning toward more towards ero,i love sangokushi so i liked this game)
峰深き瀬にたゆたう唄

Uhh, I know it's been said before...

Dai Akuji (The game that went before Dai Banchou)
Sengoku Rance

And for something less ero, try out Gadget Trial.
