Finished "Death of a Red Heroine" by Qiu Xiaolong
The many chinese names of the locations confused me sometimes xD But I liked the inside look of the 'social' china.

Now I'm reading "Inés of my soul" by Isabel Allende.

I frequent a site where authors share their not-yet-published books. Sadly, it's only in Russian, so the titles probably won't ring a bell. Oh well...

"Guards! Guards!" by Terry Pratchett. I absolutely love his sense of humour.

Nights at the Circus by Angela Carter. This was my first foray into Carter's works and I must say I am in sheer awe. Nights at the Circus is such a dense, yet fun romp filled with larger-than-life characters with prose that exhibits vividness and the illusion of the fantastical. Ah, this is the beginning of l-oove!

Twilight Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko! He's an amazing author, I love his books. (The ones in English Translation at least XP)

I recently read the novels "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There". I thoroughly enjoyed them both. They were most interesting and very unique.

Now I am currently reading "Child 44". So far it has been brilliant.
