Well, for those anime fans who liked Pokemon and Digimon, this anime will be perfect for them. Already seen the raw and subsequently deleted it. I'm serious! The effects are cool and the fights seem alright, but OMG, it is WAY too much like digimon for my liking. I am not saying digimon was bad. The first season was ok, but it tanked after that. So the whole "digimon-esk" way its done leaves me feeling weird after watching it. Unless this one gets better, I doubt I'll be watching it. But like I said, if you're a fan of digimon or anime like that, you'll absolutely love this anime.

As far as what groups will be subbing it, the wiki list only says that S-O is going to do it, and that's up in the air. Above and beyond that I haven't heard of anyone expressing interest in this series.

I hear Shin Otaku was a maybe for this series. And actually I was hoping more for a series that was set in the era that we see at the start of the show prior to the intro. I saw this one video on one of the Onmyou sites. I would have much prefered a show like that with the character featured in that video than what we have here.

I can't say it was a bad show, but I can't say I was overly impressed with the first episode either.

Genshiken - any group doing this series?

The last time I heard, Solar&A-Faith are doing it but I just check their site and there doesn't seem to be any news about them doing it.

Is there any other group planning on doing this?

Fansubs take time, especially for a series like Genshiken that's filled with obscure references to many different and old animes.

Indeed, I was also not so worried about when but if. Good to get the info from the source.

From what i can tell the raw isnt available yet. It is a project on Anime Keep's list so it'll apeare as soon as they have the raws and get it finished.

I was under the impression this show didnt air untill the end of october, but i could be wrong.

Episode 1 and 2 raws are most definately out. Check out 'Matthew's anime blog' for blog entries. He watches the raws (and doesnt have any special sources to obtain them from like Momotato daioh), ...so they ARE out. I'm getting impatient for this and nanoha...it's taking quite a while...
