I'm lovin the first Asa CG as well as the yukata one of Primula and Kaede. Smiling Ruri and sleeping Sakura aren't too far off either ^_^

spotted quite a few reused CG's

allmost willing to go on a limb saying that all pictures with 'old' characters (including those introduced in Really? Really!) is reused

Any of the CGs on Getchu with older characters I believe are actually from On The Stage, with the exception of the Nadeshiko CGs of which one I know is definitely from Really? Really!

The only CGs there that are new are the ones of Ruri and Sakura and the shot of Kaede and Primula in yukata.

EDIT: Anyone else think the OP ended really suddenly? Looked like they were having trouble fitting all the girls on one vid... the other 3 games had stronger OPs IMHO.

Can anyone find Nadeshiko on the OP? I can't . There's some suitably compromising CGs @ Getchu of course, but it's not the same. It also has me worried about the probability of a path for her in the game. Weird how she's listed under New Characters then though.

Liking the out-of-focus loli pics in the OP though .

Oh, and ErogeShop.com is stocking Shuffle! Essence+ (Limited Edition) for US$98.99. And it comes with a Hug Pillow Cover and Drama CD if you order before Oct 23. Neither Rightstuf nor Paletweb is stocking it ATM.

I'm new to this, so can I expect a price drop at some point in the future? No worries about the pre-order goodies, the hug pillow is kinda useless if I can't use it .

You can't really expect a price drop at ErogeShop, as their prices tend to be a bit over-inflated in the first place (well, that's their way of getting a "cut") and I've never seen them lower them, even years later. There's a chance Navel themselves might release a "Normal Edition" for a little bit cheaper, but I'm not sure (the normal edition could end up being the same price). You'd probably end up with a cheaper price if you waited for it to appear on Paletweb, especially since you're not worried about the pre-order extras to begin with. Don't think it would appear on Rightstuf, as I don't think they don't deal in untranslated Japanese games (ero or otherwise...). Your only other option, I suppose, would be dealing with Amazon or some other online vendor through the use of a proxy service or mail-forwarding service, but that could be a bit more complicated.

In the end, it's all about priorities...

Am I the only one who thinks that the new opening song sounds like a terrible mess after the first few seconds or so? The melody line and harmonic progression just doesn't really have the same impact as the original opening song for me.

I thought exactly the same as you when I first heard the song, it sounds a bit better after a few more listens but it still isn't anywhere up on par with earlier opening songs, in fact it's quite far off instead.

Agree. It does sound better after a few listens but it's not up to par with the previous OPs IMHO.
