I'm hoping it's Bones although chances are somewhat likely. They did say they will be adapting 3 series (from manga) and one original work in a panel.
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-fea...el-at-animagic Blood Battle Front is one of them and this could be the second. No doubt this show will likely debut sometimes next year in 2015 too.

Arslan's face looks very much like Edward Elric's from FMA.
That's pretty much the only reason I decided to check it out. Lots of characters.. Prince Arslan is totally nothing like his father. The other kid was more interesting then Arslan. They do make a good duo though.. Will give this a few more episodes.

Personally, I'm sitting episode 1 out. We'll see about the rest... I hope for the best, although some of the screencaps I've seen on 2ch were kind of hilarious in a "yep, this art style doesn't suit what you're trying to do, but kudos for trying" way, like this:
And some were just... WHAT?? I thought they were doing Arslan, not "Our Prince Can't Possibly Be This Cute"... o__O) But seriously, WHAT??? This is crap that I'd find funny in a comedy doujinshi or fanart, but in an official Arslan adaptation... eeehh??? And then there's crap like this: Farangis, what have they done to you... and let's not even get into everything else that is wrong with this picture. Again, let us not forget that when drawing dignified and strong female characters it's very important to give them huge boobs and dress them as scantily as possible, also don't forget about their nipples because those are a really important part of characterization. However, for what it's worth, I do appreciate the Daryun/Arslan service... despite the art style. |
