for the past week or two (sometime after the server move) I start to have some connection problems trying to reach the animesuki forum. Sometimes my browser will report connection refused, and sometimes it takes a very long time to load the forums pages, and there are also some brief moments that everything seems to be okay and the pages load very fast. It's like in 30 minutes, for 20 minutes I can't access the forum without a connection refused error, for another 9 minutes the pages load very slowly, while for the remaining 1 minute the pages load fast and all is well. I'm using Singnet and someone suggested that it's some ISP problem, still it's very strange and I wonder if anyone else is experiencing similar problems? or any suggestions on what is causing this kind of problem?

Also around the same time it seems I can't use proxy servers to access animesuki forum, so I wonder if animesuki has implemented some anti-proxy measures or something?

I've had a few problems since the move but nothing like those you are describing and nothing as long lasting. It is possible Mb81 has done something that works against proxies but if that is the case it is proxy / address range specific because at home I (like some others on here) have no choice but to use a proxy on my primary connection. If it was a blanket anti-proxy measure it would have prevented at least two staff members using the forum

We'd have to wait for Mb81 to discount something server side being your problem as we often get "attacked" -- which prompts counter measures -- and only he is really in a position to comment on such things.

for www.animesuki.com, it seems there's also a lot of time that I can't connect to it, but it seems to be better than the forum, ie. sometimes I can't connect to the forum but can still connect to the main site (albeit it loads quite slow). I can access the different mirrors with no problem at all, this problem seems only occur to the main site.

strange... today it seems the forums is all okay for the whole day, and no problem at all... someone did something?

I had the same problem today.
Though ping and nslookup results were okay, I couldn't access to animesuki.com.
But now I can access here after re-connecting to my ISP.
Are any IPs from my ISP also banned?

Seriously though, you should post your tracert results here since MB81 can only see the working IPs under which you post.
