Overall feels like a new spin to 7th loop. Not much is known yet about the setting and plot other than a few character intro.
And I recognize Uchida Shuu's voice right away without even looking at the credits because she greets me in my game everyday I think it's her first anime MC role despite having a few regular roles before. |

Jill is in this relationship with Hadis for the longhaul! Unconventional as it is! Though while she wants the marriage to be in-name-only, Hadis is already putting a ring on it to mark her as the Dragon Emperor's wife and even sweet-talking his beloved "amethyst." For one reason or another, Hadis really enjoys having a wife .
The OP is very fun and vibrant! Featuring Jill and Hadis' meeting, coming together, Gerard busting a move, and our main pair so happy to be together . Attack on the sea! You can tell Jill has military experience because she immediately goes into action and is fully prepared for ship-to-ship combat! And by ship-to-ship combat, I mean Jill flying around and tossing around all the enemy ships! All for the sake of someone who went out of their way to protect her and prioritize her safety. Not that she needs protection, but the sentiment is appreciated . Not only does Jill have to deal with being married to Hadis now, but she's also got a rival in love in Sphere! Who despite calling her a "thieving kitten" seems really cute and sweet. Could she really be capable of murdering her rivals and killing herself, though ? I was wondering why Hadis wasn't able to get access to Jill, but it's because he's become a baker! He's going to make her fall for him with the power of croquettes! Which admittedly are actually quite successful, though Jill still needs to slap some sense into him that a marriage isn't built on croquettes alone . Hadis has actually been through a lot. Despite being the true Dragon Emperor (since he could see Rave), his mother shunned him, his family all proceeded to die in one gruesome fashion or another, his father only put him on the throne out of fear, and his mother straight up killed herself on his coronation day. Like...jeez. Even the one brother who was loyal to him, Viselles, ends up turning on him in the original timeline . But at least now Hadis has Jill, and she'll do all she can to prevent this from happening! Even if Hadis is now suddenly acting the tsundere about not falling for her when he's making all this effort to make her fall for him...also, what's this about three years ? Jill disguised as a boy! Perfect for slipping incognito . So the true villain is Marquess Beale (Yutaka Aoyama)! Trying to frame Jill for a rebellion using thugs he employs and undermine Hadis' authority! He's even willing to use his own daughter in the process! What a scumbag . Sphere honestly has a lot going on in her life. She's genuinely in love with and loyal to Hadis, especially because he was there for her after her mom died, her dad remarried and didn't care about her, and people shunned her for getting along with dragons. You actually feel bad for her that she got rejected because she was 16. But that just motivates Jill to save her . Poor Jill. Even after all that was going right in her life for once, she (and Sphere) end up in handcuffs and she's about to framed for yet ANOTHER crime she didn't commit. But at least it seems like she's been reunited with her most trusted aids, Camila and Zeke, who get along like oil and water and has renewed motivation to make this timeline the best it can be. Also, is that her main outfit they threw in too ?

Because Jill's knowledge of infamous Hadis, from her previous life, she rejects him first. Then, he turns out to be a good guy. Jill decides to take a chance and changes her mind. Hadis seems to have a bad luck(good luck) to ascend to throne. All his brothers died one by one. When he was the next heir to the throne, his father was scared and named him the next heir. He is unable to do anything about this curse.
Jill meets Sphere(Sofía), Hadis' potential finance, but he turned her down. Sphere calls Jill as doroboneko(the woman stealing other woman's boyfriend). Later, Jill learns Sphere as a good girl, too. Sphere has the ability to see dragon, and some limited understanding of dragon's communication. However, Sphere fails to see the dragon sitting on Hadis' shoulder. More importantly, Sphere is already 16, and Hadis prefers 14(Jill). It breaks Jill's good impression on Hadis. There must be be a justified reason. |

What luck for Jill that her most loyal soldiers were from the Rave Empire to begin with! This whole mess is why they even ended up in her kingdom to begin with! But now she can break everyone's' handcuffs and take charge of the situation and make sure everything all works out .
I love how the guard watching Jill's room was literally named "Gard." But at least he had the forethought to bring Jill's uniform with him so she can get changed in a flash (she IS Supergirl!) . Man, poor Sphere. Her father is basically staging a coup and planning to kill her off to cement his control. He was likely behind framing her as a murderer in the previous timeline. And Sphere is still willing to prioritize others' lives, and Hadis, over herself. She doesn't deserve this . It's a lot to expect a girl to basically accuse/condemn their own father, even if they deserve it, but while Jill isn't quite a proper rival in love (her and Hadis' relationship is...complicated) she and Sphere both care about the Emperor and want to protect him and that's enough! Nice to see both girls finally working together . Seems like Hadis is one step away from becoming the fearsome and merciless Emperor in Jill's memories, willing to cast off anyone who doesn't serve his purposes or is inconvenient to him...but thanks to Jill, he won't have to, and that just makes him appreciate her more. Besides, he seems happier just cooking sweets for her . Nothing ensures loyalty from the Northern Forces like epically saving them like a Superhero! Even gives enough credit to Hadis to make them loyal to him too ! Wow, Jill really is not only a competent captain but quite possibly the worlds' strongest woman the way she busts through walls, sinks ships, and busts skulls . When will the bad guys learn not to underestimate Jill or bind her hands? It never ends well . Hugo may be a thug, but it seems like he genuinely cares about his men, which makes Marquess Beil's betrayal and trying to kill all witnesses all the more awful. And he's brought a dragon . I kind of want to see if Jill can take a dragon, but there's a literal Dragon Emperor, so better let Hadis take over . Cooking tarts with Hadis! Hadis has Jill stuck in his brain but he also spots a dragon flying by and he knows it's time for him to step up for his precious Amethyst .

This seems like an unusual case. It's not like Hadis is actually misunderstood by Jill from her past experiences. He actually is very much the guy she remembers. He's constantly on the verge of going over the edge into bloodthirsty emperor mode. I mean geeze while Jill is doing her best you've got this guy thinking Sphere is better off dead. No wonder this guy ended up with a brutal fate in the original timeline.
Thank goodness for Jill that apparently all her abilities are still at max capacity even after reincarnation. Be a real problem if she didn't have brute force as an option to resolve all her problems . To be honest I thought they were going to pay off Sphere's backstory with the dragons to explain that one not attacking at the end. But yeah, I suppose Hadis makes sense. It certainly wouldn't be happy to attack him. The more episodes go the easier it is to detach it from other series like Tearmoon.

This episode kinda felt like they were stretching out the plot a bit. I mean, the discussion in the church went on waaaaaay too long for the simple resolution of "Jill beats up everyone".

It also weirdly moves really fast too. This whole dilemma is introduced and resolved almost immediately. Very little time spent building up her past connection with her troops before they are right there and they are actively resolving the main crisis that involves them.

Hadis flexing his dragon-emperor title! If it's not pacifying a dragon, it's immediately taking charge of the situation and putting the fear of the Dragon-Emperor into Marquess Beil! But just so he doesn't come off completely heartless to Jill, he shows off how well he knows his own troops, manages to give Hugo an out to save him and his men by recruiting them, and giving Beil the chance to save himself after he's exposed! He might not deserve it, but I'm glad Sphere doesn't have to watch her father get killed in front of her .
But jeez Beil, take the deal! Don't insult and demean the man who holds your life in your hands! Or bring up his dead mother and siblings! He's lucky Hadis is so used to those accusations that he doesn't bat an eye at them. It's probably one of the few reasons Beil is still alive . Hadis may be the rightful Dragon Emperor, destined for the job since he's the proper reincarnation, but he's running a kingdom that seemingly doesn't appreciate him and is afraid of him. And he has to deal with those feelings while still making an effort to run the country. It's a lot for one guy whose only companion up to this point, the only reason he still has any faith in humanity, has been a talking dragon . Jill has no intention of falling in love with Hadis, she just wants them to become the ultimate married couple out of mutual benefit! Totally no romance going on here, even when she's taking care of a drunk Hadis, he makes her rabbits out of apples while they're being physically intimate, open up to each other about their families, or they end up sleeping in the same bed! Just totally normal, platonic, family stuff . Jill may be sibling-zoning Hadis, but he's not content with that, he WANTS her to fall in love with him if for no other reason than he desperately craves affection and companionship. But he won't do the same for Jill because he feels his love will only hurt her like it's hurt his family...though frankly it seems like he's already fallen for her . I see Hadis is already taking the "get through to her through her stomach" maneuver. And admittedly Jill can't refuse because she doesn't want to disrespect the food...which she enjoys to bits . Zeke and Camila are now Jill's personal knights! And as such that means they get to tease her over her relationship with Hadis and her lack of romance towards the concept of marriage! Jill is so cute when she's blushing . So...the Goddess Kratos and Rave are exes and Kratos cursed Rave's kingdom and his Dragon Emperors? And the only way to mediate that curse is with a spouse? Goddess Kratos doesn't mess around . I'm glad Sphere is Jill's teacher and still has a role . Dang, Gerald just couldn't let Jill go so easily, huh? Looks like HER ex and her current beau are about to go head-to-head .

I know a lot is wrong with Gerald. But seriously...what's wrong with that guy!? He just needs a cover bride so he can secretly go all incest with his sister right? Shouldn't it not matter who the girl actually is!? Or is he seriously so pissed about being turned down that he's lost track of why he wanted a fiance?
Well at least things seemingly worked out. No one appeared to die and everyone is lined up. But certainly more than most shows where the girl needs to approach the "villain" of a timeline, this really does feel like that's the case. Jill really is walking a tightrope here. Obviously Hadis isn't evil at his core. But honestly it's plenty possible for him to swerve intensely into a bad direction. And Jill knows how bad it can get so she's all the more on guard about all this. Certainly a situation where both sides are obviously falling for each other, but they also are actively rejecting the idea of them being the one to fall in love. Both seeing downsides to it and trying to keep their feelings in check. Not a bad episode.

Assuming this isn't just about the fact that she jilted him .

Not sure why I expected sanity from a guy this evil. But holy smokes he needs to know when to quit! Not that I want another girl to go through the same thing as Jill. If this guy wants to self-destruct then might as well let him. I am curious if we'll get much from said sister though. Gerald is obviously evil. But is she? How much was she aware of? Probably won't find out anytime soon. But I'll remain curious.

Gerald obviously does not take to getting rejected well, not when he needs a convenient beard for his sister-loving ways, let alone as an insult from a rival nation. And it looks like he's brought something that will cause no end of grief for Jill .
Jill may not have the countenance of a typical noble lady, but she does look absolutely cute! Especially in fancy dresses! And she has Sphere to teach her to be a proper lady! Even if every part of her is reacting with a desire to kill the man who ruined her life . Can this unconventional couple prove they're happy and lovey-dovey to Gerald while maintaining their mutual stance not to fall in love? Not that it stops them from flirting with each other, trying to look out for each others' safety, or having their first lovers' spat. Hadis even steals a kiss from Jill, though he ends up feeling the consequences in a slap. I imagine Jill probably slaps REALLY hard . Look at Hadis all smooth and natural in opposing Gerald and flexing him and Jill together! Of course, that just convinces Hadis that he needs to sabotage their relationship somehow . RIP Marquess Beil. Sphere is literally the only person who will mourn you. Though with your death people begin to question Hadis again and his people start turning on him...as well as question Jill's role in his life . So the Goddess Kratos just could not live with the Dragon Emperor (or his descendants) marrying someone else, so she transformed herself into a spear to kill all the Dragon Emperor Consorts. Said spear being the same one Gerald brought over and is now possessing Sphere to kill Jill. Poor Sphere . I see Hadis takes Kratos so seriously he'll kill any woman she's possessing to get rid of her, though Jill crushing her shadow form is equally satisfying. Granted, now every woman at age 14+ has been taken into custody for fear of becoming possessed by Kratos, which will not endear Hadis to his people. But that's why Jill was so important to him because she was too young to be possessed. She was literally the only woman who could be with him . All this drama going on and our main couple are having communication problems and not properly conveying their feelings. Jill even questions Hadis' feelings for her if he won't even call her by name (though Rave makes it sound like there's a reason Hadis calls her "Amethyst.") On top of that the people are starting to rebel for Hadis grabbing their women and riots are breaking out, with Hadis seemingly poised to kill everyone in his way...and Jill is trapped in a barrier by Rave. This cannot end well .
