CDisplay is the best. You don't even need to decompress *.zips and *.rars

ACDSee or IrfanView...both have built-in file/thumbnail browsers and can seamlessly switch to slide-show modes, with zooming included.

In ACDSee, you can just scroll your mouse wheel up or down to mode forward/backward in the scanned pages...

Print it out, staple it together, and read it how its meant to be read.

I don't actually do that btw.

I use CDisplay,

I find it better than any of the others because it allows you to bookmark any page if you have to stop reading for any chance. Then later you only need to open CDisplay and select the desired bookmark and it will open the file in the exact page you left off.
Not only that and it allows to automatically jump from one issue (zip file) to the next one (or previous) with a simple key combination.

I used cdisplay a few years ago, but it was still buggy as hell then, guess I should give it another try.

CDisplay bookmarking sounds usefull.... but then again I shouldn't extract 10+ volumes into the same folder .

Using ACDSee right now.... as long I can turn page with mousewheel and scroll somehow, im happy.

I use the XP slideshow feature, it works really well and doesn't require me to bother downloading anything.

I hate the Windows XP image viewer. Its not customizable in the least bit, and even worse sometimes the damn thing crashes on me. Of course I only use it when I'm on other people's computers though, because I don't run Windows.

Personally, I use GQView. Its the best image viewer I've ever used and I never once had an issue with it. Here are some links:

Currently its only available for Linux, so if you are using another O/S too bad but you're missing out.

Me too.

I just hit ctrl + A to size the image at its original size, and then I click the next image when I'm done reading that page.
