They did that with Zero no Tsukaima. Sure you can say they learned but its still JC Staff we are talking about... they screw up novels big time reglarly.

Hah, that wasn't even the worse cliffhanger.

The worse one was in the fight with Patra where I ended it with Irokane stuck in Shirayuki.

Best part is I had the next paragraph on notepad XD

Also, I replaced the Namusan thing with the Lord's prayer, with specific reference to "Deliver us from evil," since that was the closest explanation, I believe.

when you're translating from Japanese, it's good to mark the pages:

a good dedicated editor not just fixes English, but smoothen the sentences, and unify the translations, ie. to say check for inconsistencies. for example same terminology described or translated differently in different volumes, flashback lines which should have been identical, etc.

yes, it's easy to cross-check the source when someone makes a complaint on a word or a line. besides, I do make mistakes, especially when working fast.
