I can't help but have a big stupid grin on my face.

I can't wait for the full version...

(Also, I was never really a fan of Jin and Yunoha, but it's nice that they got a happy ending. A lifetime late, but still.)

It was good seeing Apollo and he was boss. I don't care for Kagura and Zessica pairing but it was really nice to see someone worry for her for a change. Considering now one in the original show seems to give a shit about her.

The OVA is... so silly and random, like what was the point of all this aside for pandering the Jin x Yunoha fans but I LIKE IT! Silliness and randomness is Aquarion's charm after all

All those mix-matched forms especially Doquarion and Froquarion was entertaining, and I like the fight between Kagura's EVOL and Solar. I was laughing when Mikono "order" Kagura and Apollo to help her, and Apollo's line to the pair when they about to gattai was really spot on

I'm not a big Jin x Yunoha fans but I'm thankful for the OVA since I got my Andy x MIX moment despite it was only one scene and very short. And finally, oh God that "Sousei no Aquarion Gattai All Star" song, I need that song! I always like when the seiyuus do a cover of the show's OP

Btw, is there a reason why Sirius wasn't there? Does it take place sometime on the tv show or was it from Sousei movie where Sirius has already dead? Reika was just there

Or is it because Sugita still pissed about Terashima Takuma?

Sirius wasn't a popular character. That's probably why. That's why he was removed from the Genesis OVA in the first place.

Yeah, I also think that's the reason. Also, he really wouldn't have meshed well with most of the other characters present. Sylvia of course had to be there, and from the main characters in Genesis, Reika is probably the most amiable and likely to go along with crazy situations and weird people.

Well, this was a heavily cut version so it could air on TV... maybe she has more screentime in the full version.

Well, according to this, we get:
1) a special jacket by the character designer
2) a drama CD
3) a 32 page booklet
4) the full version (cca 29 mins) of the Sousei no Aquarion EVOL OVA
and a bonus disc with:
1) audio commentary
2) a live special
3) clean OP

Bastek was talking about the Evol release, but the OVA will come with the Logos release.

The whole one world turning into seven and the Book of Genesis characters being friends sounds to me as as set up for Logos.

Mikono was a bit tsundere there. Silvie reminds Amata of somebody. Dude that was the previous incarnation of your girlfriend.

There is a good reason why Soumi isn't in this OVA. Sanae Kobayashi is also the VA of Reika.

It was nice seeing the entire main cast in the OVA. Sousei no Aquarion in the background was a nice touch. Can't wait to see the full version.

I know Aquarion series always nonsense.
But this OVA made it to another Lv.!

It's fun that first series characters and second finally meet through.
And I can't stop laugh in latter half.

Oh, didn't realize this.

Though, isn't this should be the reason to actually include Suomi instead? I actually wanted to know the continuation of what she whispered to Donar at the end of the series

She wasn't the only one missing. Malloy and Sazanka are also not there.

Sazanka's notable because in that locker room scene all the other background girls from the show were there, if silent, but she wasn't.

Also they still haven't said whatever happened to Altair, and if Mikage actually genocided the place and every single person except Kagura is dead. It's kind of sad the whole planet was just tossed by the wayside like that, since it was the basis for the whole damn conflict.
