In any event I think I will definitely give this one a try - just because. Certainly is quite a contrast with the former visually, though ... yeesh! XD

Finished the first episode today....
Well, I think it was okay but not impressive. Something bothers me about the character designs so far, in particular the yes. Well, music is okay and they got into the ping pong action right away. For most parts, I think the episode was consistent but hopefully we'll learn more about the characters along the way.

Ep 01
Actually ... nothing earth-shattering or the like, but I liked the first episode. Pleasant enough. We will see if the series can continue to be interesting or no, but not bad. The character designs remind me (not in a 1=1 kinda thing but in the sense of a vague reference point) of the designs from Nichijou or even Lucky Star for some reason. Go figure.

Thought the first episode was just ok. Seemed to follow the usual plot line for this kind of story a little too faithfully. Could be better if it is willing to become more flamboyant along the lines of the Saki franchise. I will give them credit for knowing that girls actually sweat while playing sports. |

A lot of the character designs seem like poor man versions of various cast members of the past kawaii girls being kawaii from the past 2-3 years.
Seems to be trying to mix in a lot of aspects into one show. Like there's the serious sports aspect, the boobie humor, moe aspects, for the more physically developed characters, their boobs are bouncing all over the place, but that's actually probably accurate to what really happens. I have to also give them points for having their clothes visibly damp up from all the sweating.
