It looks one-sided to me. Besides, Alto would have done the same if it was Ranka in trouble. Perfect example is when Alto went berserk with his Armored pack in Episode 14.

Oh and please don't reply to this post. There's enough Sheryl shippers vs Ranka shippers around without drawing me into it.

The problem with comparing those pics to the Ranka one is that while the Sheryl ones are clearly drawn by the work experience kid (who clearly doesn't like Michael) the Ranka one wasn't. I think the reaction they wanted was "Sooooooo Mooooooooooeeeeeee ^_________^" too bad they got the opposite!

You dont have to reply to me if you dont want to be dragged into the shipping but i cudnt resist takng the bait. I dont see it completely as onesided because sheryl has left lingering effects on Alto wherein he thinks about her even when she is not present in scenes. I would like to know if there is a scene where he thinks about ranka when she isnt there ( not counting scenes of fights/protection).

Seemingly in your opinion, Ranka will have a high chance to catch up against GAR SHERYL!!! Sheryl drawn well against Ranka drawn well = Sheryl wins with pure hotness. An AMV's not a valid source - you can edit and pick scenes to show that Ranka and Alto are dating, if that's the case. However, Alto spending more time with Sheryl than Ranka on-screen in series is something that has happened.... although it should be pointed out that was because he was assigned to her escort team at HER request.

At this stage, Alto's been about as decisive as some of the worst harem leads in recent history... but unlike that scumbag Makoto, he hasn't slept with either girl (as far as we know). Seriously... at this point, he either needs to pick one, deny them both, or take the Shuffle! route. The love triangle's painful to watch when the main lead won't even acknowledge feelings for either girl in the triangle, and the rest of them have their own annoyances. It makes me want to see more of Cathy and Ozma, after seeing them struggle through ten episodes of Alto tsun-tsun, Ranka clueless dependency and neediness, and Sheryl's "I'm SHERYL!" self-absorption.

I got a lot of Ranka pix looking like.....really not that good but as well as Sheryl...
The episode 15 is the perfect example.
I would have said it's due to a poor animation for some episode thought. But I really don't know.... I got worst than that for Sheryl , but it seems for Ranka it's intended which always results to the puppy,dog !
Ranka looks like a puppy here but Sheryl like a man...It's all fun thought!

Actually she not only looked moeeeeeee but also quite young and school girl crush mode there ..... so maybe they were deliberately trying to go for that look to purposely contrast her with sheryl if they intend to make sheryl the eventual victor i.e ( squee!! I really hope so)
This eppy didnt look like they were trying to gather rank sympathy pts to me at all, quite the opp in fact.... but I dont know havnt watched the subs yet...

Meh after this episode I can't really say as I care about what happens with the love triangle...Frankly I find the secondary romances a heckuva lot more interesting lately...I just wanna see sheryl do another concert.

I think that amv means a lot. I never saw Alto hold Ranka in his arms as they go flying through the sunset. That scene between Alto and Sheryl was epic.

That's why I'm saying that they way they have depicted Ranka compared to Sheryl in the last few episodes should make the outcome of the triangle rather clear. I'm half expecting Sheryl to push Alto to Ranka next episode since Ranka's intrusion gives her a chance to back out of doing something she didn't want to do in the first place. Of course this does depend on what Sheryl said to Alto before the "Alto-kun, Alto-kun, Alto-kun, Alto-kun, No way!" scene.

Ranka fans for some reason seem to think this episode was to try and gain sympathy for Ranka and that Sheryl was cast in the "bad" role, I honestly have no fucking idea what show they are watching at this point.
