It actually depends on the kind of series being presented. Some shows are actually meant for it, and do not detract from the portrayal of the characters. This show, however, does not, IMHO.

did u guys notice, that the 1st movie had many promotion and CM, while the 2nd does not
it almost december.... Feels like 2 month left before the movie shows

It lacks of promotion and CM...no new product from bandai, etc for the next movie..
If they don't do something ... Many viewers will forget about it...

I unfortunately can't read what it's about, but there is Macross F written in huge letters on it so I can only guess there must be an article with pics inside it. Very likely the movie 2 since this is the novelty everyone is curious about?
I'm getting this issue next week and we will see how it is ^^ Anyway, don't loose hope to get news about Sayonara no Tsubasa just yet

How surprising though, that there are so many animation of Ranka looking so happy/well, I mean, the 2nd part of the series, which the movie 2 is supposed to cover, is pretty 'dark' at some extend ^^;

Well, this seems to be a promotion for that Nyan Cli thing, I presume, hence the happy happy footage .

I think that's Ranka and a fan of hers. My guess since in the series there were many people who cosplayed her. If not, could be one of her promotions.
