Empoleon has an amazing move pool, not sure what you're talking about. Sure, he's support oriented instead of straight up beats, but that doesn't mean he's crap. And so few people pack grass attacks outside of grass Pokemon that Swampert's weakness isn't really an issue. You obviously don't keep him in on a grass type.

You say Grass eats it alive, but that goes for any Pokemon with a x4 weakness. In the first place, you don't keep him in front of a Grass Pokemon. If it is just HP Grass, he can actually survive it.
Empoleon has a fairly good movepool. Attack-wise, he has Water, Ice, and Grass, which is enough to deal with most opponents. He can use Sword Dance = Can use a Physical moveset. On the Support side, he can use Stealth Rock, Roar, and Yawn, for example.

As far as HJK missing, you are pretty much saying that to any move that can miss. It is almost like saying Togekiss is hard to use because Air Slash might miss occasionally.
Oh, and Hydro Pump misses even more.
Yes, you receive damage if it misses, but in the first place, Blaziken isn't gonna survive an extra hit either way

Just heard that step counters increase the rate O-Power recovers, what's the multiplier?

Well, I'll share my guide to crushing Battle Maison - Super Singles.

Use this set up.

EV HP/SPD + remaining in DEF or S.DEF, Truant Durant - Choice Scarf
Only IVs in HP, DEF, S.DEF, and SPD matter.

Entrainment

EV ATK/SPD remaining in HP, Speed Boost Blaziken - Blazikenite
Only IV's in ATK and SPD matter as later on everything will one shot it no matter what. So kill first!

Double Kick
Swords Dance
Protect
Flare Blitz

EV HP/ATK remaining in SPD, Huge Power Azumarill - Leftovers or Mystic Water/Splash Plate
Only IVs that matter are HP, ATK, DEF, S.DEF, and SPD. Basically a 5 IV "Perfect" Azumarill.

Protect
Belly Drum/Swords Dance
Aqua Jet
Rain Dance/Play Rough

As soon as Entertainment gets on the enemy do one of these.

Switch to Blaziken
Mega Evolve
Protect
Swords Dance
Protect
Swords Dance
Protect
Swords Dance
Protect
Double Kick
--- If Enemy is still alive.
Protect
Double Kick
---- Repeat as needed unless the enemy heals too much. In that case one shot it with Flare Blitz.

Switch to Azumarill
Protect
Belly Drum
Protect
Rain Dance
Protect
Aqua Jet

Or...

Switch to Azumarill
Protect
Swords Dance
Protect
Swords Dance
Protect
Swords Dance
Protect
Rain Dance(If you have it. If not, skip)
Protect(Skip this Protect if you didn't use Rain Dance.
Aqua Jet.

Swords Dance is safer if you set up like this but Belly Drum is better for Oh **** situations where you need 6 boosts right away if Blaziken was your switch in for Truant and died.

Note - If Durant faints after using Entrainment than have your Pokemon open up with Swords Dance/Belly Drum instead of Protect!

Be careful though for threats that can destroy you.

Flash Fire Chandelure - Blaziken useless.
Terrakion - Faster than Choice Scarf Durant as the AI cheats, so pray he doesn't have Taunt or Protect as Durant can eat his Stone Edges/Earthquakes like a champ.

Protect before you can set up Truant. This can kill you. This is why you have Azumarill as typically the Taunters tend to be Rock/Ground/Dark types.
Roar/Whirlwind - More annoying than anything. Azumarill can usually mess them up with just Aqua Jet.

I got to 96 with it. Would have got to 100 but I dozed off and hit Double Kick instead of OTKing with Flare Blitz.

I plan to get to 100 in my next go.

If you go to Gamefaq's trade board or so, you should easily find someone. I was able to get it from someone who was giving Pokerus away.

3000+ = x3
4000+ = x4
<2000 = 1 Circle per 4 minutes? If I recall correctly.
Need 4000 steps to get 1 Circle per Minute

Speaking of Pokérus.
I somehow got it naturally.

Well, I guess it`s my lucky day.
I was trying to get a good HA Minccino for two days when I got a 6 31 IV adamant HA male Minccino.

And someone on GTS traded me a shiny Spanish Dustox for a normal Beautifly.
I didn`t realized it was shiny until I saw the red star in the menu... Several hours later...

Maybe "she" didn`t realized it was shiny too.

I think I do have a Pokemon with Pokerus TD, I can trade him to you when I get a chance to get home. (with Finals weeks and finishing up my house model, its going to be a while) But this is for a better paying job (45k a year)

It worked far better than I thought it would when I first tried it. Double Kick is essential for breaking Sturdy and Sash.

Though another thing to look out for is Toxic Spikes before you can Truant. In that case switch to Azumarill over Blaziken as Leftovers + Belly Drum means you can start sweeping faster and use Blaziken as Clean Up after using Protect for a Speed Boost.

Tenticruel is the most annoying Pokemon ever in the Maison and the only one that has almost wiped me a few times but I came back because of Belly Drum Azumarill packing Leftovers. Helps that Aqua Jet has Priority and hits like a truck with Huge Power and Rain.

Also note - Mega Blaziken CAN one shot a lot of Water Pokemon with 6 Boosted Attack Flare Blitz. So against bulky water types you may be better off useing Flare Blitz over Double Kick. Ex - Gyarados.

Hell you can one shot Dragonite too.

Has anyone tried to farm Leftovers with Pickup yet? I've read there's a 1% chance for Lv.81 and above, can anyone confirm it?

Yanmega would be MegaYanmega and Meganium would be MegaMeganium in that case.

Quite possibly why they didn't make megas for everyone.

Also, I still wish they had done alternate final evolutions for older Pokemon. I'd like a non-flying evolution of Charmeleon (truly embrace the Salamander or something), a Wartortle evolution that maintains its ears/tail, etc.

I've never done competitive battling before in pokemon, so when I created my first 6-man team and had a random match, I was surprised I could only use 3 pokemon from my party.
Is it possible to battle with a full team in random match or is 6v6 only possible against friends/acquaintances/passerby shown in PSS?

Edit:
Bred Dusknoir, with 252 EV & 31 IV in HP, he only has ~166 at lv.50, never thought base 45 HP would be that low.
Thought Spiritbomb would be a decent choice with 2 priority moves (Shadow Sneak and Sucker Punch), but with 50 base HP it's not that great of a choice either.
I guess there goes my plan to use them as physical/special walls.
