I stumbled upon this series just today and read all the translated chapters. Imagine one of those food based series where they expound upon a certain kind of food and describe how tasty and delicious that food is, some well known examples include the ones about curry, desserts, and bread. For this series, it's junk food and candy. I can guess what you're thinking (you:

), but I think it's a cute little series, and the girl that eats the snacks and loudly declares how delicious they are is amusing.

(I don't like to repeat myself.) Adaptation fucking sucks. Director is biased Sayafan and skipped like over 30 chapters. Festival chapters are 53-56 yet they didn't adapt chapter 56 which was Hotaru and Kokonotsu's talk on stone stairs while episode wasted time with pointless anime original Saya's banana's eating in blowjob style or boring, overlong flashback which was ONE panel in manga (same with previous episode - boring, stretched and anime original content).
Coincidenly out of 13 chapters with Saya in first 55 chapters they didn't skip any. They basically run out of chapters with her. Fun chapters like Radio exercises, Hotaru's mansion or Father and son stuck on small island, "boobs" chapter, chapters with local small kids, fortune telling dagashis were all skipped. I don't remember that much biased adaptation since Sakurasou.

Here's list of skipped chapters: 13-15, 17-19, 21-23, 26, 28, 30-41, 44, 46, 47, 49-52, 56.
So yeah, you can start reading from 13th and then you will proceed to curse this anime like me.

You would probably get crap around the internet for that comment but I agree. Having read all of the raws and then watching the anime, it just leaves me shaking my head in disappointed because it isn't getting adapted faithfully.

Unfortunately, You and I are probably on this island by ourselves, the saya train is too strong.

You're not alone, the Sayafag director is too obvious, and can't tell the favorite for fans is Hotaru.

I really don't get this retarded decision. They basically dampened Hotaru's popularity and killed possibility of all those doujins that could have been created if anime was faithful.

Does anyone read Japanese forums? What do they think about this blantant favoritism?

It's run long so I wouldn't be surprised.

On the other hand the imaginary Saya Ship has been destroyed for good while Hotaru's been reaffirmed for the Nth time.

Man, I really thought the series is gonna end with Hotaru disappearing, but Hajime is quite awesome. Chapter 117 is freaking hilarious as hell. Probably one of the best chapter in the series so far.

But have changed the Art Style? Volume 1-5 lokks really good but the Cover of Volume 6 looks terrible. Whtas happend or it is only the Cover?
