as far as its good that mashima dont haf long draggy fights but i think sometimes its abit too far....i wouldnt mind one or two chapter of MH vs LS as i would like to see what milli and leon can really do after 7 years or some fight between the 2 guild...

i guess main chars more priority heh

No, even if he extended the fight it would have been totally meaningless. The whole point there was that the fight was completely one sided from start to end.

And lets face it... you'll get to see what they can do eventually anyway. Better to not spoil it with meaningless fights IMO.

I don't know if anyone else cares, but I figured out the first part of the Shadow Dragon's name is actually the Greek word for "shadow," "skia." So its name may be "Skiadram" (or "Skiadrum").

Yeah, knowing that, Skiadram makes much more sense than any of the other versions.

Natsu and Gajeel seem far stronger without the use of Dragon Force.

That said, the third generation being able to activate Dragon Force on their own is pretty hax, but I imagine that Natsu and Gajeel still have the edge on actual fighting experience.

True. Natsu and Gajeel were schooling them up to this point. Since Sting & Rock (or Rogue however they're translating it now) have activated Dragon Force the momentum is probably gonna shift in their favor.

I'm so happy natsu and gajeel are giving those two the punishment they deserve, it really puts a sadistic smile on my face >=D and I'm not really worried if they can activate the dragonforce at will. I don't even think Natsu and Gajeel (not sure if he already achieved the dragonforce mode) would even need that powerup to beat the crap out of this chumps (well, mostly sting though :P). However, I'm curious what gajeel's dragonforce will be like.

gotta admit this was impressive and im glad they didnt end it so easily especially considering the hype but yea its pretty obvious its gonna end in a draw if u ask me. EDIT: Its either a draw or a FT win actually im willing to bet thanks to ultears Power up natsu and gajeel can do the same thing

Once again true. You can never count Natsu out of a fight. Plus Gajeel probably has some moves in his arsenal we haven't seen yet.

unfortunately it looks like next week is all flashback with sting finding lector and why he has to win.

I see sting and rogue beating down natsu and gajeel and the end of the chapter gajeel and natsu will pull out their power ups. ( or just be like NAKAMA I LOVE FAIRY TAIL AHHHHHHH). Overall I think Natsu and Gajeel will win decisively.

One of the predictable routes, and typical shonen fair. I was hoping for something a bit more, rather than repeated one-sided fights and repeated power-ups. Still, it's not bad, and given what happened to Lucy last chapter, this was emotionally satisfying.

If Mashima is going to go this route, I want to see it continue as one-sided ownage. I want Sting and Rogue to use Dragon Force, and still get pwned. I predict Gadjeel and Natsu to get beat down a bit, before getting their own power-ups, though.

Oh, I'd also like to see Natsu and Gadjeel combine their magic and powers for some teamwork attacks that Sting and Rogue lack.

Not much to say, other than that. Decent chapter, if a bit too typical.

basically the chapter was boring the pummeling and the ownage was nice but lets face it we knew this was coming/
actually i have a very amusing theory on Frosh and Lector. What if instead of dying their dragons realized they couldnt defeat acnologia in the coming battles so they sacrificed their power to give the Dragon Slayers the strength to do it and now they're stuck as the lil mini creatures and in order to test the power they have they wanted to go against natsu and FT who as they already know battled the beast to test their power
