doh, there's me being dense as usual. Of course it matters, since winning a necklace matters, so a balanced schedule per necklace is required as well as the overall balanced.
Like I said, I'm slow, thanks for explaining in a way even I can understand . |

That reminds me, we should all have MtG names to go by. For instance, firewing can be a Thieving Magpie or a Fit of Rage. I'm
Akroma, Angel of Wrath ofcourse, but everything else is fair game! Quote:

Yeah, but when it comes to the necklaces, do remember that in the original plan that we've had, they weren't supposed to have a purpose at all - just side prizes to say that, "okay, you were the best candidate during that three weeks". While my initial plan was for someone to rise from the ashes and steal a necklace, after Setsuna's win perhaps not doing anything but let her be featured as the Topaz winner, people started to question what was the point of the necklaces. Remember that I initiated the necklace immunity rule on the last week of Amethyst, when we were well into the season, so that perhaps someone from the bottom of the standings could attempt to rise from the ashes (which hasn't really worked out).
So in the original plan, Kagami's "easy twelve weeks" wouldn't have mattered. But now that the plan changed, the Hiiragi crowd took huge advantage of the rule change and the easy schedule that was to follow. |

Seeing as "it reminded me of the good parts in Kanon" could as well be the ultimate prise this kind of show can get from me, I strongly urge everybody to see it. Tomoyo went up from my "neutral" list...

Spoiler for Ruby match 2 picks and predictions:
I got lazy midway. @:Minhtam: On second thought, screw the Necklaces purpose, I just want a nice Necklace reward image for a character I actually regard highly. So far, not even close... @Cytrus: I think I just died a little inside after reading your comment.

Nothing wrong with the "Good storytelling" part, though. Anyways, have to celebrate my moms B-day, so I'm gone for now. Bye-bee!

I did it like this for Nanoha StrikerS, and the politics parts, which had a lot of unknown vocabulary, were a chore to watch, which probably lessened my overall impression of the show. All the raws were crap, too. Both audio and video.

And I don't think the necklace rule that I've implemented would have any affect at all - like it or not, we would still have had to deal with Kagami taking two, possibly three necklaces anyway. I think that at this point, adding purpose to the necklaces was the right move, but it was made at the wrong time. I should have saved that for next year's competition, when I had a plan in action. Not to take away from Kagami's success, as we would still see her at her peak for a while, but the necklace rule, as well as the schedule provided, does ruin it. A lot. |

no, it was the right tourney. i know nanoha is high up there on the list so tomoyo winning wasnt as high as it was against some of the other characters. i knew the votes would be close but her to beat the white devil still came as a surprise.

Tomoyo and Kyou pretty much own this competition, that Nanoha got within a hundred votes of Tomoyo is what should have surprised you. |
