Quite a smart way to weaken a devil. Last week when she was losing, Makima looked happy and now that she's winning she's disappointed. Goes to show how much she idolizes Chainsaw Man.

That's actually a pretty clever way to weaken a devil. Usually getting recognition and becoming a hero would be a good thing, but this time Chainsaw man's new status is being used against him.

It might be the first time I've seen people's support weaken the hero of a shounen manga. It's always the opposite.

So Chainsawman is actually challenging Makima's will. I was getting Devilman dejavus in previous chapters when the situation kept escalating.

Depends. A change in prime ministers doesn't invalidate treaties, so it might not work.
