First impression

All characters seem to have triangle body shape. Their thighs are THICK.

Okay I wanna watch it on Wakanim but because it required me to wait for a week to watch an episode of it (I recently registered my account there but didn't subscribe it yet), I decided to watch that show elsewhere. The first episode didn't exactly grab me too well, a bit too much infodump and monologues for what would be otherwise a very easy to understand introduction. Too many characters are introduced but I can tell the anime will focus only on the nine of them and even their screentime will vary. Kaede looks to be the most interesting character I could relate so far despite being a walking infodump character and not made for everyone, I like her appearance and her personality made me smile everytime she showed up. It would be nice if I can wait for a few episodes to watch just to see the rest of the main cast because I'm excited to see Tazusa on action because her personality is very very similar to mine and I would relate to her the most.

The art looks weak by Shaft's standards and the animation quality is very average in my opinion with a little bit of CGI from faraway when the characters fight against HUGE, but as a thigh fan, they look nice and soft but very disproportionate from the rest of the character designs which honestly doesn't look very good to me apart from their faces, slightly distinctive hairs and of course...thighs. The voice acting sounds ok and Hikaru Akao's work as Riri sounds cute despite being surrounded by a sea of literal nobodies (except Ayako Kawasumi as Yuyu's senpai).
Enjoyment wise it was alright, but I'm personally more excited for Warlords of Sigrdrifa because I would like that one more.

They have decent staff but poromos looked to moe for my taste. I hoped for something more in vein of that OVA from SHirobalko or at least Kotobuki.

Yeah, I think whoever made this product was a Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha fan

And one (not two together) thigh seems to be as thick as the torso! This is one of the times that I shouldn't have read fanboards because the thighs didn't register with me until I read the forum.

Still, if you can sideline them, this anime isn't bad and I'll be back for next week. The main character is cute and not too stupid.

I wanted to like it but the main character is annoying as fuck. And they're trying so hard to make her seem special it just makes me dislike her more.

I might continue watching because I'm curious about Yuyu's past and why her personality changed so much and whatnot, but other than that it just feels like a waste of time.

episode 1:

fully watched the episode today. Great action, and I like the characters already.

Kaede's weapon is cool, it is also a gun - reminds me of the gunblade in final fantasy games.

If nothing else every episode is going to be amusing with the enemies being called "huge" .

It was actually a pretty solid first episode. The characters are pretty fun, the action wasn't bad, and just a good amount of likable charisma from the main character.

Bringing back the gunblade.
