Mmm... wow, even if Araragi is far to be my favorite character I can really feel the atmosphere of the show becoming dull without him save some parts.

Karen and Tsukihi sound a bit different, it might just be me though. Yeah I think it's just me.

I'm glad they included senjougahara's drawings, haha.

Well, given what just happened to Hanekawa in the beginning of the episode I think some dullness is narratively appropriate. She seemed to spend the rest of the episode shellshocked from Senjougahara's speech.

Interaction between Shinobu and the Cat was the highlight of the episode.
Wish Dad had more lines. Because it's Fumihiko Tachiki dammit.

So the tiger burned down the juku school, too? That's how I interpret it at this point.

The conversation between cat and shinobu was indeed the highlight. I enjoyed it.

Wow. She gets her hair cut by karen or her parents, right? I imagine it would get expensive really fast if you had to go the hairdresser every week.

So that's where Karen's ponytail went... to Tsukihi's braid.

First a shower scene and now a bath scene. By the time this arc ends, everybody but Araragi will have seen Hanekawa naked.

This episode was not as interesting as last week's but it was still pleasant to watch. I liked how easily Hitagi manipulated Karen. Not that it should have been hard. You can get her to do whatever you want if you appeal to her sense of justice. This should also work on the other Araragis.

Now I'm even more shocked. If only the other girls' hair could grow back that fast...

Is this a side-effect of being a Phoenix or is it just some random quirk?

For me the message for their news hair style is like "We are grown-up fuck yeah"

Anyway , looks like we are getting into the actions next episode or the girls will investigate all the mysteries until they'll reach Araragi.

The school got burned down? Strange. The only one I can think of that would do that is the tiger, but we don't really know of his capabilities yet so I'll hold my breath on that that one.

The Fire Sisters make an appearance, with Tsukihi sporting new hair which I like a lot. They, along with Hanekawa all take a bath together (Araragi sure is missing out).

The talk between Senjugahara and Hanekawa was interesting yet again, showing that she often doesn't care for her own well-being.

The highlight of the episode was definitely the talk between Shinobu and Neko, interesting to see them both in an exchange.

Of the new hair styles, the only ones I don't like are the Fire Sisters'. Tsukishi's is just FAR too long, and Karen... just seemed better with long hair. Maybe it wouldn't have been bad had it not been for Senjougahara and Hanekawa already cutting their hair.

And then Kanbaru appears to have gotten long hair too! It seemed longer in Nisemono, but not that long. Now it's at Hanekawa's old length.

And yes, Shinobu and the Neko's conversation was great. Especially with the Neko batting around the ceiling rope as they talked.

I actually liked the 'political intrigue' of this episode. Maybe it's because the story's being told from a different perspective than Koyomi, but it feels kinda refreshing; slice-of-life-ish even =03.

I thought the same.
I already mentioned this on the past episode's thread, but Senjougahara's starting to grow on me, the way she manipulated Karen was brilliant...

...as was Hanekawa's face when she realized she was wearing Araragi's pajamas.

damn, this whole episode for the last one has been like a Who's Who of Monogatari.
Everyone is showing up. Really brings to light just how many supernatural folks Araragi has surrounded around him.

Shinobu vs. Neko conversation banter was great.

It was stated in Tsukihi Phoenix that her hair and nails grow back abnormally fast.

It is interesting to see this mystery going on with Araragi and not actually seeing him at all. Finding out that his connection to Shinobu has been severed only makes me wonder more about what the heck he's gotten himself into. At least Shinobu seemed to have an idea as to why Kanbaru's help was being requested.

Definitely some classic Senjougahara manipulation in this one, but it's not like this was something would have been completely against doing. Just gave her all the more motivation to accept it.

The mystery of that Tiger continues as well. Something specific to Hanekawa that only she can see... Possible it's behind the school getting burned down, but it could just be related to the mess Araragi has gotten himself into.

Pretty decent episode.

The highlights of the episode for me were Hanekawa's undressing and bath scenes.

I had a feeling that Senjougahara was going to set up Hanekawa to stay at Araragi household. Hanekawa's expression when she was told she was wearing Araragi's pajamas cute. It must be hard and exciting to sleep in the room and in the bed of the boy you love, aye Hanekawa san.

First Hanekawa's home gets burn down and now the old cram school. Hmm, what's next I wonder?

Can't say I agree. I think Tsukishi looks pretty good with long hair and that Karen can go either way.

That said this was yet another good episode. The Fire Sisters were definitely the highlight of the episode for me though Shinobu was a close second.
