I wonder why the king's men instigated a witch-hunt for Makai Knights and Makai Priests? They've also taken over his kingdom... the fact that the Golden Knight is necessary to stop them, I wonder if they've all been possessed by Horrors or are working in tandem with them?

So Leon's father is a Makai Knight and his mother is likely the executed Makai Priestess... yeah, he's definitely destined to be the Golden Knight

Will definitely watch this, since I love Garo franchise, though most of its movies (incl. OVAs) was a let down, but at least Makai no Hana so far succeed to reignite my passion for this franchise (especially the episode where Raiga got Gouten

). And I hope the anime will offer better and more imaginative battle scenes; please lessen the number of battles where Garo OHKO-ed the Horror after he transformed

The summary reminds me of Yami wo Terasu Mono a little bit where human turned against Makai Knight and Priests, by the way.

How I hope Kamen Rider Spirits will be adapted into anime as well after seeing this

That's one of the things I'm hoping for. This medium should allow for them to go nuts. Well as nuts as whatever budget they have allows.

I usually don't like when a shot shift between 2D and 3D animation, but not with this one. I really like how is looking.

I wonder if the Armor cracking and the mouth opening, which shouldn't normally happen, is meant to represent Leon going over the time limit? Unless, the mouth opening is for purely artistic effect

.

The animation for the Garo Armor looks awesome, and puts the CG in Yami wo Terasu Mono to shame

.

I think Armor looking orange is because of the lava and cracks more than not being Golden but that's just me

.

So does that mean he's in it? Or is Hironobu Kageyama just promoting the anime? As much as I'm excited for the anime, I've always been a little disappointed at the possibility that Zaruba might not be in it since he's such an iconic part of the franchise. So if he's actually in the anime, that would be really awesome

.

Though that would mean Zaruba's been with the wielders of the Garo Armor for centuries, which I imagine makes him pretty long-lived by the time of the first Garo series

.
