I found the OP very pleasent. I have always been fond of songs with a distinctive tempo, and this one had it. ^^

As for the content itself, it's looking rather promising. But I'll save my comments until I actually watch a few episodes.
As a game player, my expectations are naturally high (not as high as it was for the first season though, thanks to the various disappointments), so I expect myself to judge this season quite critically.

Hmm...I had thought the person scratching was Tomitake, but the more I look at it, looks too thin to be him.O_O It kinda looks more like Keiichi...

Considering the voice, the morphology, and keiichi talking about Tommy, it would be hard that it isn't the later. (also, you can see his trademark black shirt)
OTOH, the shot of a bloody corpse (legs?) juste after the scratch scene is kinda weird...a girl probably (well considering the legs anyway)

I don't find it distinctive in the slightest. In fact it kind of slips in to the pool of all the other Idol-Pop songs I've heard, too typical of the genre both in style of singing (it very well could have been anybody from KOTOKO to Yui Horie doing the opening, it really wouldn't have made a difference as to me they all sound alike with this type of music) and in composition (I swear I've heard this kind of musical sound in an anime or eroge opening at least 10 times already this past season). Thus, to me its just another Idol-Pop song that fails to stand out from the rest. I don't even remember what it sounds like anymore. The first opening, that was distinctive. The first time I heard it I could recognize it from there on out and even conjure it up in my mind.

Klash, you should edit your post, since that could be considered a spoiler there(Thanks a lot>_<). And it's a flashback of Rika from the third question arc, anyway.

Since that sratching clip is dark, you can't really see much. I still think it looks like Keiichi.

*sigh* it isn't a spoiler, considering i don't confirm anything, and flashback can be anything, since this scene is from yakusamashi. either way, it can be anyone else (a girl considering the legs), that's it.
we have a clock death with tommy, and it is related to what keiichi says, thus my guess; end of story. (read the word : guess)
but since it might be another fuss, i will edit, while you should edit yours as well, considering you are emphasis it as a spoiler -___-

as for the scratching scene, it is not dark at all (at least to me) : i could see the shirt, and basically the forms and hands. and why it would involve keiichi while it is a flashback too? that doesn't make a sense either. (the cry would hardly fit keiichi voice too)

Keiichi died in the manner at least once before, and who knows if he will again.

The second trailer is made of pure win. That really pushed me to the climax. I seriously can't wait anymore...

2nd trailer is very intresting...lots of scenes from Minagoroshi-hen...

I wonder how will they explain that, if that unknown person is indeed Rena, survived and lived to the present day...

I'm honestly worried about whether or not that seen from Minagroshi-hen with Takano and the shrine from the early going made it in. It'll be interesting seeing a funny/frightening Takano animated.

3,4-tan with absurd kaii/moe mode heh? it can be much more scary than the previous bloodshot/deformed face scenes XD
i just dunno what the hell Ryukushi was thinking for this scene. it is just... wrong

The lyrics had a real emotional punch for me too, considering its relevance to the story.

It's better not spoil you with that great scene that was in the game...if you have read the Minagoroshi-hen translation project then you would know. I think people would gladly explain what happened, if unfortuntely the scene is cut out from the anime...

You should play Minagoroshi-hen to find out or wait to see it animated. you'll never think of Takano in the same way again.

My guess is that 3 and 4 stand for Mion and Shion, respectively.
