after these last two arcs, i am not surprised it ended this way, this series was canned because it lost popularity and it didn't end naturally which is why it's going to the other magazine, to get the correct conclusion that the author couldn't do by being canned in wsj

You are thinking of Jump Rise, the magazine where D.Gray-Man is currently published in. Giga will have a monthly release for 3 months starting from June 27th, so we will be getting an extra chapter per month until August.

Unless they actually want perception of the series to be even worse and we shouldn't take those "extra final chapters" into consideration when judging the series.

Throw it into the pile of really bad and baffling decisions that this manga had taken, but like I mentioned, the topics that the extra chapters will be covering don't make it sound like it will be anything close to a satisfactory resolution, and more like glimpse into supplementary issues and final check up. At best, the final extra chapter for "where are they now" might be a good flashforward, but will one chapter fix the ending?

I doubt it.

I hope those endings in Giga won't become the norm, it feels weird to wait so many months for the final conclusion. That and I wanted to see Erina's "It's delicious" already, like that was the whole deal of this series, Souma growing as a cook and winning Erina over with his out of the norm cooking that delivers delicious food that even she cannot deny.

well, finally, it showed what's inside erina's head. she admitted it is so delicious, but her wish to keep rivalry with soma till the end makes her says the opposite, not with the mocking tone nor pride yet teasing one. her powerful bursting is enough for soma.

based on their friends reaction, they're not surprised anymore to thinks this has been happened everyday between erina and soma.

I stopped reading or caring about this manga the moment that Erina got kidnapped, and I don't even need to read the final chapter with my own eyes to know that is series has become garbage tier manga.

Reading all the disappointing and rage comments about SnS ending from reddit alone already made me laugh so hard and cemented my view on this manga.

This manga should have ended at Central Arc. Oh well, at least the porn artist is now free to continue his career as H-artist.

That was worse than I thought, literally no resolution at all, nothing to really show that they have grown as characters, absolutely felt like a chapter that was supposed to come a couple of chapters before the true resolution. I had dropped this manga write at the start of the asahi arc because it felt like it was just rehashing central and an earlier villain but not as fun, yeah asahi in concept is the same as copy guy, only came back to see if if could pull off it's ending. Not only did it not do that I have seen worse manga have better endings than this, shokugeki no souma started great but was put on life support with the author unable to understand what made his story great that it died without being able to have the strength to let out even a wimper
