The other is in Uchuu no Profile as well. It's the second chapter which is called Kyoko's Dream.

Excerpt from a passage as quoted from "Kimi no nawa" in "Bodies of Memory: Narratives of War in Postwar Japanese Culture, 1945-1970", by Yoshikuni Igarashi, Princeton University Press (2012), page 106.

Radio into Live action then the time gap bridging animation of this thread, now back into live action. Retelling a story of missed opportunities in almost chance encounters. Because of this announcement I was just reminded of Machiko-maki and the cultural impact of the earlier "Kimi no nawa" which led me to that book. Curious to see what one more reinterpretation adds too.

Vox Populi: Title of old radio drama is reborn in new anime ‘Your Name.’ Asahi Shimbun, October 6, 2016.

Here's something cool: exploring the location of Taki's apartment in Google Maps.

Understood, thanks It was surprisingly fun to try and figure things out, but I'd figure I'd also share the methods I used. With the location found, I hope everyone can now take a look for themselves!

On that note ... This may not be available everywhere, Crunchyroll: "Join "Your Name." Official Tour Supported by Japanese Government's Cool Japan Initiative".

I hate to burst your bubble, mate, but that information is outdated. Moreover, applications for the tour have long closed. Fortunately, the locations are no longer tricky to find, making it possible to do a self-guided tour.

Cool it with your pointed questions, you're not fooling anyone. You're just talking someone else's content in a vain attempt to elevate yourself. You tend to do that a lot, taking a variety of links and thinking that it's our responsibility to figure things out when in fact, you've not even done the research to make sure what you're linking to is relevant and current. By comparison, my information is something I took the effort of compiling and making sure that it would be useful. Your links are hardly useful, so stop posting them and thinking that between that and your purple prose, we'll be impressed enough to accept your opinions.

One would hope that no one took any of your bollocks seriously about visiting the locations, or your claims about irrelevant, obscure, misleading and untrue mythology and symbols: watching the movie you're asking us to is to degrade the experience and quite frankly, disingenuous to Makoto Shinkai.

If that info is outdated what does that make yours, one may well wonder? They never were, in other words.
