Jigoku Sensei Nube aka Hell Teacher Nube would rule!
48 eps and from 1996 so i hope it's not too hard to find. info from animenfo.com Nueno Mesuke, better known as "Nube", is a school teacher who does more than just teach. You see, Nube's left hand is a huge, nasty-looking demon's claw. He uses it to get rid of malicious demons, ghosts, spirits and other supernatural beings that are giving his students a hard time. Nube's left hand was normal, until one fateful day when he exorcised an extremely powerful demon from a child. He was outmatched and lost his left hand. The only way to fight it was to let it enter his body. As a result, Nube has a demonic left hand where his own hand used to be. To educate and protect -- that's what Jigoku Sensei Nube does. I hope some fansub groups are looking at this thread geting ideas

I've been wanting to see the rest of the series for a long time, and in August we begun sourcing the raws. It is indeed very hard to get HQ raws (one of our translators has the HKDVD set, but the quality is poor) and thus we didn't want to start the series until we had all episodes in possession. But, it's a goer, and episode 4 has finished the first translation phase.
Right now I'm slaving over the typesetting. We do need help with distro though... |

If you're wondering what's happening with Seichi's Sakon, we're having trouble translating part of the show, namely the gidayu parts (kabuki type thing). Most native Japanese people don't understand the stuff, so you can understand the trouble we are having. I've been asking around the academic staff at my uni, but the best I've been able to get is a partial translation.

Hmm. I'm going to try and get us at Anime-Blitz subbing a older show. We've wanted to do one or two of them for a while, but no raws :P
I'm thinking Orguss I'd love to do. Ahita no Joe intrests me. And Hell Teacher Nube looks intresting just from the cover of one of the DVDs alone :P Can anyone comment of the avalibility of raws of these shows? |

Has anyone decided to work on Hidamari no Ki episode 2 onward? I would like to find out what happened to the fledgeling doctor and swordsman. ^_^
That's a nice Suika banner Sothis. I wouldn't mind if someone also decided to fansub the non-adult versions of the Suika OVA too (mainly for episodes 2-3). I wouldn't want to see the adult version of episode 3 anyway since I think ?Ocho has too young an appearance to have an H-scene with. o_O' The story made perfect sense without the H-scene. Suika is the game that Circus made before Da Capo and watching the endings of Da Capo I can notice a few similarities between the two (I much prefer Suika's 2nd and 3rd OVA story endings to Da Capo's endings though). ?Ocho is the girl in your Anime Planet banner if you didn't know that already.

Someone to subb F-Zero Falcon Densetsu.Miyuki and A-M seemed to have dropped the series,or are having extremely bad delays.There is 8 raws out right now,and the last episode subbed was almost a month ago.Sort of a disapointment for me,since I've played a lot of the F-zero games and was wondering how this series would turn out,Something new different.

Lingerie Soldier Papillon Rose - I wish someone would fansub it just so I know what's being said! XD I'm not the only one either, sure it's perverted but there's only one episode so far so...
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children Light and Dark - Eer something like that on the last part of the title, I've heard about it, thought there was a fansub, but can't find it. XD I like the music for it... so I wanna see it! Digimon - Baaah I wanna see the Japanese episodes darn it! Are there fansubs already? I don't think I've seen any. Ai Maeda's music is so good in it, it's no fair it got ripped to poo when they dubbed it. Pokemon/Pocket Monsters - ... ... Only because of Megumi Hayashibara's role as Musashi... I know the last two are licensed but bah, we'll never see the subtitled versions because of the people that licensed them! It's not fair! |
