Yeah, Sakura does love Sasuke, but even that didn't help keep him in Konoha, so in the grander scheme of things, If there was no sakura the results may be the same.

Hmmm... can be interesting when you think about it

Ino... things would not be much different, early in the series she was just about as useless as Sakura was... she may have the whole mind transfer thing, but considering the lack of other abilities, and how hard that transfer can be to pull off, it's really not much. Relations wise, Ino would always be all over sasuke and getting closer, so not much difference there, and naruto isn't in love with Ino, so that would have changed... overall, not a big difference in the short run.

Hinata... Major difference in the short run. Unlike Sakura and Ino, hinata does have fighting ability and she also has the byakudan. She's probably the most powerful out of the three in the early stages. Her mai problem however would be he serious lack of confidence which is much lower than the other girls. However, being around Naruto might help out those issues of hers and allow her to grow. Relations wise... Hinata would love naruto instead of sasuke, but ofcourse Naruto would remain completely oblivous to her feelings...

However, when you think about, these things really start getting interesting when you think in the long run of things

Ino... One thing that's important to note about Sakura is that two of her strongest points are intellegence and chakra control. these two things are probably why Sakura became so good after time skip... Intellgence helps greatly with medical jutsu which must need A LOT of study to do well, and Tsunade's super punch is all about Chakra control... Ino however is of lower intellegence and has not shown to have high amount of chakra control... this means that if she were to follow Sakura's path and train under tsunade, she would not benefit nearly as much from the training... It would probably take her a longer time to develop the super punch and her medical jutsu would probably be MUCH lower... Grant it, she might have made up for that loss with the increase in her mind transfer type jutsus... but then again, we don't know for sure sicne she did nothing during the akatsuki fight (kishimoto is so damn sexists...)

Hinata... Here we would see the interesting change... seeing as she is so different from both ino and sakura, hinata, more then likely would not end up going to tsunade for training. Hinata has a very strong family style of fighting along with her bloodline. In order to become stronger and be more useful, she would most likely seek to advance in those abilities. Bascially, she would probably become more like a female version of Neji, just not as strong and a different personality. So instead of a medic/fighter, team kakashi would get an allaround close range fighter.

Grant it, when thinking about these things, i can't help but think of how cerian fights would have gone down, Especially the rescue garra arc since that's where sakura took a vital role and really shined... For instance, without Sakura, Konkuro would be dead... Even if they trained in it, Hinata and Ino's medical abilities would not be good enough to cure the poison(both of them had lower intellgence than Sakura), the poison was just too complicated...

also, the fight agianst Sasori probably would not have gone well at all if they paired up the same way... With lower level medical jutsus, they would not have a cure for the poison and thus would have to avoid getting cut or pierced... Ino would probably not have the Tsunade super punch as well as Sakura had it and thus they would have trouble fighting Sasori offensivly, seeing as the punches did so much good in that battle... she may have the mind transfer, but i don't think that would have been of too much use against Sasori; also by not being better than sakura taijutsu wise, she would have gtten cut by Sasori but this timed died do to lack of antidote... Hinata on the other hand, would probably be a strong close range fighter and thus could avoid the poison attacks... her byakudon would probably also help out in that area... however, i fear that she would not have been of too much use offensively; Sasori had a puppet body, not a human body, thus her "gentle touch" style of fighting would be rather useless against him, hell she wouldn't have been able to break the shell of the first puppet.... really, that fight against Sasori would have gone terrible if not for Sakura... the only way the fight would have been saved if somehow, the new girl managed to cause a change in the team up; like Tsunade sending one more person with team kakshi, or if they split up different, lke Naruto and the girl chasing after Diedara, while Kakashi hands back with the Chiyo to take on Sasori

Actually, according to data books, While Temari's intellgence was above average, she was not nearly as smart as Shikamaru... she was a stratagist type like him, but not nearly as smart... Sakura on the other hand is actually more intellgent that Temari...

And while Temari was a stategist type and sakura wasn't, Temari wouldn't have added stradegy to the team... remember, team kakashi has kakashi on their team, he's much more intellgent that Temari in everyway... Temari's type of intellgence might have helped a bit more in the chunin exams, but not for the team overall

HOWEVER, what Temari WOULD do for the team, is add a much stronger offence for them. Out of all of the female genin, Temari was hands down the strongest... Sakura was useless early on and added nothing to the team's strength, Temari in contrast would be of great assitance. Though that's really just speaking in the short run... this doesn't take into account the long run when Sakura actually gains useful abilties... gets a bit blurry as to who would be the more useful of girl... Temari may have great offence, but team kakashi may need the medical jutsu more

Compentent yes, but even if she were to train under tsunade she more then likely wouldn't become nearly as good as Sakura... Sakura has an acedemic type of intellgence and is much smarter then Ino. considering Medical jutsu would require advance knoweldge of the human body and medicines, high levels of acedemic knowledge would be vital to learning high level medical jutsu. All in all, Ino simply would not be nearly as good as Sakura.

Also, you can't always assume a medical ninja can just be written into the story like that, cause ANY kind of ninja can just be written into the story... for instance, If awsome sight was needed to beat an enemy, Neji or hinata can be written in for whatever reason, or if the team needed a flying ninja then a flying ninja could be written it... it kind of devalues this discusion when we start thinking like that... when it comes to how good the team itself would be, we shouldn't think in such a way, cause then the discussion looses it's value... however when it comes to thinking of how Specific story events would have gone down, if we have a good reason then we can speculate (it's gotta be a good reason, so that it doesn't sound like a plot device)...

Going into the manga

There would be some trouble if it were Ino and not Sakura... Seeing as tsunade sent Team Kakashi as a 3 man team instead of a 4 man team, it's possible to think that she only did it because she had faith in them... however if it were someone other than Sakura, it's possible she might have thought differently on sending them and thus decided to add one more to the team... however, the question here is who would the member be, a medical ninja or a fighter?...

with either one, i feel Konkuro would still be screwed... Chiyo, who is probably the best medical nin in sand bascially though only someone like Tsunade to save Konkuro. Add in Sasori's comments of how complex he said his poison was, and This tells us that the poison Sasori used was some very high level and complicated stuff, something no normal medical ninja could handle... this in turn also kind of tells just how good Sakura really is with medical jutsu since she was able to deal with it easily. Ino i beleive would not be nearly good enough to hendle such a poison... and considering that this was high level stuff, it s very big question as to if that Random Ninja Tsunade gave them would be a medical ninja much less one good enough to handle the poison... competent medical ninja are a dime a dozen, but the truly great ones are rare...

As for the battle with Sasori... If the random medical ninja wasn't good enough to handle the poison, then he won't add to much to the fight... he'll make it a three on one fight, but that's not saying much since one scratch is all it takes to kill, and medical ninjas aren't know for their fighting... However, if the random ninja was instead a good level fighter, then with either hinata or Ino, they may have a chance if the new ninja is strong enough... 3 on 1, with the 3rd being a fighter would do well to even the odds a bit

So ya, with the theretical 4th ninja added to team Kakashi due to Sakura's replacment... Konkuro would most likely be dead, and the sasori battle would be looking pretty bad, but with some hope...

Well, you could also look at other possibilities. Sakura can still train as a medical nin, even without being in team 7, so, judging from her abilities she'll be just as good, medical wise. The reason why Ino decided to be a med nin was because of her rivalry with Sakura, the same could happen with Sakura so therefore the result of Salura's ability as a med nin have a possibility of recurring.

Ten Ten would be stronger if she was with them, maybe she would find out about her potential in other areas besides summonin weapons imo.

Ino in sasukes group? She'd improve herself like hell just to look good to sasuke..remember that sasuke look down on sakura becuase shes weaker than naruto.Sakura may be emo, but Ino just cant accept this.It'd be better imo..we shouldve seen some more genjutsu like mind control jutsu

Its hard to place TenTen and Temari in the group since well, TenTen is one year their senpai, and Temari is from the village of sand. But, its nice to imagine though, no?

Sasuke didnt look down on Sakura becouse she is weaker then Naruto .. he looked down on her becouse she insult him and she is weaker..

But ppl cant understand that ..

Admittingly, Sakura has received the most character growth out of all the female characters, simply because her being in team 7 made her one of the primary characters. I wonder if she'll still be ignorant and mean to Naruto if she wasn't in team 7?
