[PC/PS3/360/WiiU] Mass Effect 3

New info on ME3 was featured in the May issue of Game Informer, which some people already have.

I'll put the info into a few small points here and there.

Spoiler for New Features:

-In ME2 powers evolved once at rank 4. In ME3 powers will evolve more than once as you level them, to allow for deeper ability customisation.
-Weapon mods. Weapons work like they do in ME2, but with the exception of an added weapon mods system. Weapon mods alter the stats of the weapons and also change their appearances and could include things like barrels, scopes, etc.
-Rather than restricting weapon types to certain classes, all classes can use the same weapons but will have a limited amount of weapon slots based on the class, with the Soldier having the most slots.
-The rumours are incorrect, there is no multiplayer in ME3. They're considering a future multiplayer spin-off set in the Mass Effect universe though.

Liara
Ashley or Kaidan
Garrus (provided he's still alive)
James Sanders (New squaddie)
-Confirmed characters who may or may not be squaddies:

-Confirmed characters who will have a presence in the plot:

I would really like to have tali back... she was one of the most favourite chars... and her voice was smooth and good... I would rather sacrafice legion or other char from me2 for tali to come back xD

so what they are saying that love relantionship between shepard and extraterrestial is impossible... so they throw more "human" chars...

ME1 and ME2 mechanics combined, and with the ability to choose which weapons you can take per class... I'm liking what I see on that front.

Wish I can say the same for Ashley though. Well, not that she looks bad, but considering I never cared much for her anyway...

Calm down guys I'm pretty sure Tali will still be in Mass Effect 3(assuming she survived of course).

And am I the only one glad they upgraded Ashley's look? I was frankly getting annoyed with her old hair style.

Wait... Anderson? As a possible squadmate? Seriously?

I'm wondering how the squad roster list is going to be like. Including the characters from ME2 and depending on who lived or died, that's a long list. I can imagine characters like Wrex taking the back seat since he's busy leading a clan, and perhaps Mordin will be staying out of the front line. Samara might be done with her oath, and Thane is close to dying.

But what about squadmates who are still very much capable? Characters like Jack, Grunt, Miranda and Tali are still very much combat-ready. On the other hand, I can't imagine the DLC characters will still be sticking around.

I definitely want to see the final list of squadmates.

Too bad because Kasumi was one of the best squadmates. She hardly ever dies and her stabby power is great.

On the DLC characters, given that they're optional characters in ME2, then for those getting into ME3 it would be better to keep them as optional DLC characters, rather than have the confusion of wondering where you get this or that character when you start ME3 if you've only played vanilla ME2.

Although I still hope Kasumi and Zaeed get into ME3 in one capacity or another >.>

Remember Shepard's offer for Anderson to come along with him when Anderson complained about how life sucks for him?

Zaeed is proof that old stage doesn't stop someone from staying a badass, and I dare say, I would definitely like to see Anderson as a squad mate, even if only temporary.

Temporary... because I can't imagine Bioware having a highly bloated squad, and from the looks of it, there's 2 confirmed humans already not including Shepard.

Yes, Garrus and Kaidan as squad-mates, I'm most pleased! Not that I expected any less, mind you. I wasn't expecting Liara, tho. I thought she would be more like a contact (albeit still a li)to Shepard after the whole Shadow Broker business.

Hmmm. Temporary squadmates would definitely help in managing such a huge list of recruitables.

If Anderson joins the squad in some capacity, be it temporary or not, he HAS to be a Vanguard of some sort. He's infamous for clocking Udina. His custom ability would be some sort of Punch Power.

On another note, I'm kinda glad they changed Ashley's character design. She didn't look really attractive and her hairstyle was so old-fashioned so yea lol. And Wrex might be a squad member again YES!

And Anderson as a potential squad-member? That would be awesome

Well, I'm not that fond of Ashley, but I like the fact that she has an athletic build. She's a tough female soldier, and it shows. She's not the same as gentle but serious looking Liara, or cold femme fatale Miranda.

I hope the makeover won't reduce the distinctiveness of the character.

If tali is not a Squad member I wont be upset how ever if shes hardly in it or theres no romance continueation I'll be furious.
