Similar to True Tears or Female main character
Hello, I havent posted here in a long time, but I am in need of some suggestions. I just finished True Tears and really really enjoyed it. I also finished Da Capo II first season and hated it. The difference between a more realistic romance and a pseudo-harem like Da Capo usually rests with the male lead. Shinichiro beats the hell out of Yoshiyuki. He made more realistic choices, realized the affect of his actions. It was just a better representation of interaction, so Im looking for something similar to that again. Also, if there isnt much of that out there, I would enjoy an anime that focuses on a relationship more from the female prospective, and more on their thoughts and feelings as opposed to focusing on the male side. My anime watched list is in the spoiler list, thanks to any suggestions
EDIT: I do prefer newer animes. Something about the older ones makes them hard to watch. Spoiler for list:

I think I would have to go with Kare Kano for you. For all it's faults it has some amazing moments, and offered a very likable and believable leading pair. It's probably 6-7 years old now. Bokura ga Ita is a huge favorite of mine and is told largely from the female POV, so may be a good choice. Just be aware the anime really doesn't have an ending, in both series.

Those two sound pretty close to what Im looking for and will check both of those out. Any other suggestions? Anything with a female main character I think Id check out, too often male leads are total squares and just bother the heck out of me.

I tried to watch Kimi ni Todoki, but I just dont like the style its animated in as well as just not getting a good vibe from it from the get go. I know its chinsy and have heard that it was fairly good, but with those hurdles in place Im not attracted to that show.
