The question is

#1 What is the proper German pronunciation of
Illyasviel von Einzbern
#2 How should we write her name in Korean, for it is possible to use write very close to the original German Pronunciation in Korean?
while I can't respond to #2
I think I could probably help you with #1
first off, some links
http://userweb.port.ac.uk/~joyce1/ab...ce/voweli.html
http://userweb.port.ac.uk/~joyce1/ab...e/vowelae.html

http://userweb.port.ac.uk/~joyce1/ab...e/consonv.html
http://userweb.port.ac.uk/~joyce1/ab...e/consonb.html
thus I'm thinking in terms of textialization of the pronunciation of her name would likely be Ih-l-l (emphasis on slightly separated syllables)-uu (much like one would say the "u" in "tube" or similar to how one pronounces "you")-ah (with a slight repeating trail that sorta sounds like "a-a-a-a-a" in rapid succession)
as for "Von" I'm guessing one would pronounce it almost like "fauna" without the final "a' (though you could say it the other way like most English speaking people would likely say "von" in Manfred von Richthofen, or as in V for Vendetta ) now for Einzbern, I'm guessing it would probably be pronounced as one would say "eye" -n (like in Einstein)z-behrn, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berne , hopefully you get the idea. if I'm wrong somewhere, someone please correct me.

To tell the truth, the problem about Illya's Korean form for the name comes from the fact that the Stupid MS Window Standard Korean will not let all the possible Koreans to be inputted in to the system; it won't accept some of rarely used forms.

OK people, I'm right and ready, after FINALLY watching Nanoha [all 3 seasons], and I'll say this.

To hell with the Kyoani kids. IOSYS, you can wait too.

I'm split between Nanoha and Fate.
Help me.

I understand that too. It's VERY irritating.

Good stuff, isn't it? Nanoha forever changed the way I felt about magic girls and led me into Cardcaptor Sakura, as well.

Sure is.

You HAVE to fell pity for Fate, really. You MUST. Classic case of Child Labor. As a counselor, I must say, her case is very common is remote parts of Japan. Very sad, but true.

Still, I wanna hug Fate.

Nanoha - Cute combative loli with superior firepower and a master's degree in the art of befriending.

Fate - Kind, twintailed loli with a tragic backstory and one heck of a adorable blush. <--Her blush is multiplied by a thousand on the foundation that she can still make such a expression after what she's been through.

Kind of reminds me of master and slave.

Yes it should happen tonight, and then we'll get everyone scheduled for the whole tournament.

This was probably explained a while back, and I missed it, but...

What's the purpose of tiers anyway? As I see it, it just encourages either voting for a lower tier character out of sympathy or voting for a higher tier character for those who want to vote for a winning character, and more the former. Does it play a part in determining the schedules? And didn't minhtam regret something like this last time for giving Kagami [or another character. I don't remember] an easy schedule?

I vote according to how I feel. There's not really any sympathy. And I also don't abstain.

Juice should have a better answer, but I think tiers are used only in seeding/scheduling and should really have no further effect on the tournament (other than you knowing who was ranked where).

Since it's a round-robin tournament and everyone fights everyone, tiers should only affect the order in which those battles occur.

...which COULD have an effect on getting a Necklace based on which sequence of nine girls someone fights, but that's still pretty much all random in my book.

Could someone, once the full schedule is complete, crop the schedule so it isn't so big? Crop so each round is a picture? Because I can't view the full schedule on my Wii.

Well, I guess, since tiers seem pretty unimportant, it shouldn't really have an effect on how people vote.

Sonae, yes, I'll make individual schedule graphics once we have the tiers.

Tiers I believe were issued so that each character will have a run against each tier type during each necklace period, thus presumably making the necklace runs for each girl a relatively fair race. Also I think part of the effort was to make the Round 9s exciting by having interesting matchups all around where last year only some of the final necklace battles were interesting, while others were cakewalks (Haruhi's last necklace was a cakewalk...the fight for who would get it if she somehow lost was nearly epic since it was only those two (Kyou and Nagato I think) would could get it if Haruhi fell).
