And once again, second-hand translations become my undoing.....
But anyway, awesome chapter. I loved Toriko tackle those high-level ingredients (lol, a literal pudding mountain), and of course, Livebearer just gets creepier by the chapter (I pretty much expected that he'd cheat somehow). I really can't wait to see how this card game ends..... UPDATE: BTW, looks like the next spoiler came out too (I'll make it a little more condensed this time around to avoid making any more mistakes): Spoiler:

You know, there's something I finally realized after all this time: how does Komatsu know how to prepare and cook all these rare and highly prized ingredients even though he's never seen some of them before? I know it's been said he has a great talent, but really, he just knows?

Livebearer is already cheating.

^Yeah, the more recent storylines already indicated that Komatsu's becoming more adept in listening to the "voices" of the ingredients. I doubt that a creepy bastard like Livebearer would bother doing that since he's more interested in stealing memories (and possibly feasting on humans).....

I realized I worded my question wrong. What I was trying to ask was, "How does Komatsu even know about all these rare ingredients?" It wasn't the talent in cooking that bothered me, but the fact that he talks about the ingredients like he has known about them for some time even though he has never had the chance to cook any of them.

Yeah, that panda looks badass. And Toriko's right in that it's been a good while since his last match-up against a powerful critter. This should be an interesting fight (even if it ends up being brief).
And I'm kinda interested to see if Livebearer will still prepare some of those "joker" ingredients despite them having such little payoff in points? At the very least, I can see him eating those narcotic foods. Oh, and I also noticed that chef boss made some very Grinpatch-like expressions this chapter. Perhaps he is related to that creepy Bishokukai dude somehow..... |

Well, he can afford more outs than Toriko's team, but eventually he WILL have to eat up everything. Coco said there's only dangerous ingredients left around, so even if he forfeits at 10 outs, that still leaves Toriko, Match and Komatsu to try, right?

Wow, impressive...another chapter so soon! Things are starting to come to a closure, team Coco has to eat EVERYTHING and get another trade in order to reach Livebearer's points...but what if he decides to eat something too? Quite the dangerous gamble, indeed...totally looking forward to the next chapter

If one team doesn't complete the hit, the other team gets the points. Does this mean the other team gets the points without having to eat that food or are they given the chance to eat the food the first team hits but couldn't eat to get the points?

^More like just in the previous chapter. But yeah, he said he couldn't eat it due to it being 20 times more poisonous than the puffer whale.
Still, it's nice to finally get the chapter earlier for a change. The fight against the panda was a bit brief, but it was still cool. But now Toriko has to eat an exploding cherry.... wow. Quote:
I'm pretty sure that they'd still have to eat the food. After all, they'd lose if they fail to consume their food twice in a row, so I don't think they'd simply get a free pass just because their opponent couldn't finish a meal, either. |
