I still wish to know the two songs that play during episode 7, they really sound interesting to hear the "full" if their will ever be one.
But I'll probably have to wait for quite a while (Full opening currently uploaded on youtube have horrible quality, I'll listen to it when it has somewhat better quality)

Iam just hoping the crazed due since he's the biggest and fattest zombie seen so far in the series would become later on the boss type zombie. Unless the source of the infestation is coming from a RE type Tyrant zombie that later on our guys discover that'll be cool.

.... so, where is AIGIS? *mecha musume addict* Ahhh, anyways... or maybe whichever... The infection had to happen sometime, somewhere. It happening simultaneously around the world? Sounds too much of a coincidence. Think: How? If it was caused by a single one how would that even be possible? There would need to be more then one or... a virus broke out. So I have to guess no boss, just infected. |

It makes me wonder who is the animation director on that one, because it is not what I usually see, in term of Madhouse feel, in series like Kurozuka, Black Lagoon and Gungrave. |

I doubt we'll find out during the series, but I'm still betting on a terrorist attack being the source. Something like this can't attack in so many places at almost the same time by accident.

I'll say that the kind of anime here is more = Ecchi/Fanservice in TOP 1 . - 2 = Horror/Zombies . - 3 = Action - 4 = Plot For me this show is an Ecchi/Fanservice anime with basic zombies apocalypse plot. |

The bridge scene was cool slick and awesome, the humvee scene felt like watching a Captain Tsubasa episode where the football field is about 5 kilometers long, but updated with today's graphics, cheap CGs that is usually seen in things by AIC and Gonzo in its worst days, and zombies. It doesn't mean that I like the series less, it is just that the way this scene was executed felt cheap, and un-Madhouse-like. EDIT: I like this episode, I like the morality issues it raised (the whole deal about the family and Alice's father), I like that FUCK YEAH HUMANITY that Takashi Team gives us, and I prefer it to the pessimism of Romero who seems to moan that we may be better off as zombies than still humans, but I just wish that that scene was done a little better. |

Yes, certainly the distance disproportion was very noticeable in this episode; however, I didn't really mind that. It's thousand times better than a facial disproportion, because there's nothing wrong with the animation in case of a distance disproportion.
I liked how this episode has taken a direct approach, using a particular example of how people have changed into immoral beasts who only care about themselves. It really gives you the creeps. That sort of thing is abominable and it was only natural for Hirano and company to react and save the girl. Otherwise, they would be virtually no different from those who killed her father. I wonder if they will eventually reach a stage when they will be no longer able to do that. By the way, does anyone have any information about how many episodes HOTD is going to have. I would guess it would be 24-26 episodes. |
