It's possible that if they were real people first that the book erased their memories of their lives, but that wouldn't make sense. If you want powerful warriors, why would you erase years of combat experience?
Because you want slaves? Or more likely since the book was broken to begin with? It's not as if it was a correctly functional object after someone started messing with it. And with the Book broken, the Wolkies are broken as well. They can't remember the time when the Book was a peaceful tool for gathering information, that means that if they had memories from before that, logically they would not remember those either.

Like I said, points in favor, points against, its neither proven nor disproved. They could have been programs created when the Book was created, they could have been real people absorbed like Fate was, either is possible and canon is very unlikely to go into detail on it. Why should they? Let the fans go crazy with it. Not like it's the first time they pulled that stunt anyway.

Actually leaves another plotbunny for the fanfic world... would Fate have joined the Wolkenritter had she not escaped and the others failed to suppress the Book?

The bit about their magic being similar is, like I said before, because they both use true Belkan magic and they're both fire elementals. Is that because Agito was made from Signum's linker core? I doubt it. It's probably just a coincidence.

Same with the 'heart is warm' thing: fire elementals!
Well, aren`t Vita was confused when Nanoha ask her "why the don`t call Book of Darkness by her true name"? So, maybe they have a blank in a memories.

They do have a blank in their memories, even before Nanoha drove in that nail, Vita felt like they were forgetting something vitally important.

Makes you wonder, how would things have turned out if they had all their memories? I can't decide whether we'd still have a happy ending to A's.

Could be they weren't created until after the book was redesignated as the Book of Darkness.

That blank was the whole "The Wolkenritter are always the last linker cores used to complete the book and then it goes berserk" thing. They had forgotten exactly what happens upon completion of the book.

But like I said, not the thread for this.

In other news, moe.imouto is now back, but now it's called oreno.imouto.

See, this is what I mean. Could be's, maybe's, I think's, we simply don't know for sure. Anyone's idea is as good as any at this point, be it 'wolkies were real' or 'wolkies always were programs.'

Only now? I've had that image ever since Force chapter 7, when I desperately wished Signum's eyes to light up and the Yami voice to say "DIRECT INTERVENTION IS NECESSARY".

I'm in the midst of replaying ME2 right now as it happens. The Harbinger speaking in Hayate's voice is what popped into mine.

I'm thinking the roles should be reversed in that picture...

New Materials comic...

vic-vic, nagumo, can either of you two translate please?

It's on Danbooru.

Sorry, the image that I linked was small as hell.

On Danbooru Warning, site is NSFW, but the image is.

That one was posted on TFF for the Materials story... I wasn't sure if it was better to post it here on in the fanfic thread, but since this place recently got a wave of motivators, here you go.

That being said, anyone have a link to the original picture?

It's comforting to know that even the Book of Darkness cannot change some things.

`Kay

Yami: How`s that? Will you bow before my might?
Rai: Ahahahaha! I will… I`ll bow.
Seikou: Breakfast is ready.
Yami: You as always so expressionless.
Yami: Take that… I`ll show you my might too.
Seikou: Hey…Yami, stop it!
Seikou: If you don`t stop right now… I`ll get… mad.
Yami: Fun! Be my guest…
Rai: Hey, Starlight Destroyer, one more time? Queen already twitching.
Seikou: One more time.
Seikou: Make her squirm like that two times.
Seikou: Prefect.

Angry Seikou scaryer than Nanoha.
