Looks fun as heck, but I do wonder what they're going to do for more characters.

I suppose they could try making original characters from each race or something. (Goron, Zora etc.)

Considering I know ALOT of people who find the smallest things to justify hating Musou games... I do wonder how this'll make those kinda people feel...

Playable Zelda or Ganon unlocked after you beat the game

Ha! That's kind of awesome! So we've had Gundam, One Piece and now Hyrule... Final Fantasy Musou when? Dissidia is great, but a musou version would be kinda awesome too.

As awesome as this is, I kinda wish that Nintendo went all the way and made a Super Smash Musou instead.... oh well. I'll just cross my fingers and hope that this gets a 3DS port instead.

I do wonder if they'll make it canon or not... Odds are not... On a side note, I feel we might be seeing Sheik playable.

i don't know, that link looks like the one from the skyward sword manga about the first incarnations of link and zelda just with a blue scarf instead of a red one

Most Zelda games are very loosely connected plot-wise so I'm pretty sure they could fit this game into the timeline somewhere if they wish.

Seems that some sharp-eyed folk spotted these characters in the trailer:

After double checking I can confirm that they are actually there, one at the 47 second mark and the other at the 50 second mark.

They certainly stand out from the Hyrule grunts to think they aren't important characters. Actually one of them looks a lot like Skyward Sword Impa.

God, I never imagined controlling Link and doing mass AoE.

Shut up and take my money.

Fire Emblem Musou would've been the better idea, you can actually play to one of Musou's strong points with that one, a large cast.

That... Actually makes more sense, yeah. Least with Fire Emblem, you've already got a plethora of characters to choose from.... Instead of shoe-horning new Zelda characters to try to fit them into this type of game~

Fire Emblem characters are more similar to historic Chinese warlords than an elf in a tunic.
