I don't really know about whole that Pokemon comparison

I mean so far it seems to be more of one Mon per person which makes it closer to such works like Digimon (which actually precede Pokemons), Dragon quest and many others.

I haven't read this, but I'm sure this uses Jojo's Bizarre Adventure rules, which basically state "It doesn't matter how invincible a stand is, as long as you get the user victory is yours"........ So I'm guessing the MC's sure victory insta kill move is tentacling the female trainers untill they can't handle it anymore

lol, pokmon in LN form,

and i can already see the MC becoming OP, slimes are in a lot of webnovels s one of the most OP beings but only the MC recognized that

a WN, i think it was named "a man summoned by gods" or so, either way, MC is named ryouma and got a lot of cheats, began his life reincarnated in a different world at age 8,
he trained slimes and made them into powerful weapons after giving them a attribute and experience with weapons XD

i can already see this MC doing the same

btw, does this get translated ? i would like to read volume 1

Ofcourse MC becomes OP, that's the basic plot of these kinds of stories.
Question is how, and how well it is executed.

Is this going to be a story where only the MC notices some utterly obvious thing and uses it to his advantage, or one where MC is actually reasonably intelligent and figures out a not so obvious way o use his "weak" monsters to take down dragons and stuff.

And, again, what kind of monsters are the slimes in this story?
Dragon quest slimes?
Dungeons and Dragons oozes?
Something else?
