A weird elven butler and some of Lord Tatsuya's family. Can't say I blame the man, but of course he is shown as entirely unlikeable and awful.
But not to worry, the remaining 20 minutes are dedicated in their entirety to the worship of your holiness. We even get introduced to an entire lab of adoring servants with Miyuki pretty much drooling in a corner with a vacant expression the entire episode. It's just the best to hear everyone and their mother praise oniisama! Even a cup of tea is about oniisama. Who comes up with this?

Finally, in what has to be the most gripping cliffhanger of the season so far, a car flips over.

If nothing else, this show is definitely funny- unintentionally I'm sure, but funny.

i think u got to much overdoes of him getting worship by miyuki because that is the only reason i can think of because those lab people was just honor by his achievement it is not that uncommon i mean u have seen crazy fanboys right , think of it as almost the same thing and tell me does it seem like worship from his friend because to me it look more like the respect his ability ratter than worship

That Tatsuya advanced CAD technology by 10 years through the silver series and made the software side of Loopcast. Before, the R&D Department were considered spares of FLT but they got a lot of influence from the silver series so that's why they will always work for Tatsuya. Tatsuya cannot get attention because the family says so so he is under Taurus Silver.

The fun scenes got the appropriate tone and the expressions are subtle but good.
Yes, showing more of Mayumi's teasing personality. I hope she gets more time since they kind of shafted her in enrollment.

Kanon doesn't look so bad with purple hair.

I feel like the mood on the bus wasn't executed quite as well but it's a bus. Not much else they could do. Also, no guys trying to hit on miyuki
They've been shafting her entourage this whole show so far.

Looks like next episode, it is gonna open up with an explanation of why using so many magic sequences at once is a bad thing.

They kinda botched Tatsuya's dad's design. You can't exactly see the resemblance.

They completely cut out Miyuki boiling over the fact that Tatsuya wasn't next to her.

They kinda explained that already with the flying-type magic.

Thaaaaaaat's right Mikihiko, start to cling onto Mizuki. Get far away from Eri as you can =03. I don't care if its for my own fantasies, but when I see unimportant scene transitions like Eri(center focus, with Leo and Mizuki) waving to Tatsuya from the audience, it makes me think that there is some subtle shipping going on. Clearly my favorite girl. Mari and Shizuku are good seconds.

The end was kind of a bit over the top, but I guess its supposed to showcase something, perhaps it'll be used to have Tatsuya to save the day with some quick thinking so that the other candidates can respect him or something.

Well another meh episode, but that's okay since I got my weekly dose of Miyuki and Mayumi was actually Mayumi this episode...plus sundress! Oh and let's not forget boobs and Miki. Don't worry Miki even though you have no desire to make boobs yours, you're most likely going to get her anyway!

Not that it's really your business why I chose to watch something, but this is pretty entertaining to watch for a laugh over dinner. Is that a problem?


Don't know where you get the idea that I have a problem with competent protagonists or preferred one kind of self insert over another. I actually prefer no type of self insert, if you're asking.

as stated last ep trying to cast more the one spell on something at the same time pretty much means they all fail that's why it took so long for flight magic to come into existence a system that ended and recast the magic near instantly needed to be created. now they are all trying to stop that car that is about to hit them with magic.

I can answer this as they discussed it previously with flying and his guns. Multiple spells hitting the target increase the difficulty of using more magic on the target, depending on the strength of the spells and the number of them. They also interfere with each other. So with lots of powerful young students all casting magic in unison, they basically create a huge flux of magic and screw things up. And now it's /really hard/ to cast magic targeting that vehicle sliding towards them.

This is no problem that the ignore list can't solve, though there is a remote hope that she'll realize her "threat" to drop the show. At the going rate, I fully expect to have to prepare some new entries once the tournament starts

PS: Personally, I think that Kanon looks much hotter in purple!

Especially given that he indicated a desire to suck up to Miyuki, his failure to heed her blatant "I am unhappy with your behavior" cues is remarkably incompetent for a professional butler. The fact that he not only continued the unwanted behavior but actually grew even more insulting would not, under normal circumstances, speak well for his long-term employment. Or survivial... I was surprised it took that long for things to start freezing.

Ah, thank you. In that case I imagine Miyuki may have to solve the problem? If she holds off until after they've all screwed up, she may be the only one with enough power to break through the mess they make. I suppose Tatsuya might be able to do something too...

This is the main point that just disenchants me from the anime community in general nowadays. It all started with SAO and its just spread to any series that is perceived as "popular" and therefore should be nitpicked to death.

Coming in week after week just to show their sadomasochism in watching a show they don't like gets tiring.

Moving on, I personally don't mind Kanon. Appearance changes rarely bother me. I really do like Kei, though. He's fun and friendly. Also thought they captured Miki's weird behavior well, and loved Tatsuya's tease/dig to both of them.

Its a coin toss between Kei and Mikihiko to me. I typically like support male characters more than the protagonist due to the variations in portrayals (though they do still fall under certain tropes.)

I just noticed that a lot of magical power depends upon confidence in that the magic will work for you. That's quite a reliance on self confidence for sure.

It is quite clear he did not notice she was getting as pissed as she was not even noting the change in temp in the LN. He is also more of an accountant as he is the head of the family's finances

Wondering why nobody bothered to mention the implication that at least some of Tatsuya's abilities are the product of some experimentation by his mother. Also the recurring theme of referring to Tatsuya as "escort" for Miyuki, like he's not a full member of that family, contrasting with the regard that Miyuki is getting as a possible candidate for the future head of that family.

Kanon having purple hair never really bothered me. I was indifferent to it at first but is has started to grow one me.

Aoki is obviously a guy that overestimates how important he is to Tatsuya's family. Miyuki was the only one that actually cared about what he had to say while Tatsuya and his father were just letting him run his mouth.

It was also revealed that Tatsuya is only half of Taurus Silver since he only programs the software and doesn't do the hardware side of it. Interesting lack of commentary on that too.

that person holds the 4th highest authority in the yotsuba so he has his pride in it and he cant be easily replace but the father well u can just kill him and nobody will care

He is also a marked difference to the Butler who showed up in ep 7 who we saw directly reporting to Maya who was very respectful of him.
