There's no reason for her to assume that Tatsumi's girlfriend is a part of Night Raid.

For all she knows, it could be some normal person from the capital, since Tatsumi's face wasn't known before, or it could be someone from the Revolutionary Army.

I feel so sorry for Rabac but this may likely be just the beginning. If Tatsumi refuse to tell Esdese who his lover is, she may go to to the torture chamber to ask Rabac personally. Even if he full out a miracle to endure her inquiring, the last resort is Kurome making him her puppet to spill out everything, beginning with the NR's base. And maybe in a few later chapters there won't be any NR, Esdese may even wipe out all female members of the NR just to make sure there won't be any potential love interest.

If in one in a million chance Rabac survive all this, will there is any special teigu for him to become like Griffith in Bersek, I wonder?

My respect for Rabac just went up a lot. Dude lost a ball and still wasn't going to say anything. I think he is actually coming up with a plan to get out of their.

I really wonder how Esdeath is going to react now that she know that Tatsumi has a girlfriend. Her advances toward him could become even more forceful or she decide that she is going to eliminate Night Raid or specifically the girlfriend to free Tatsumi.

I do like Esdeath, but I'd also hope that somehow,
she'd turn over a new leaf and live a peaceful life,
like a certain famous rurouni with a cross-shaped scar.

The comedy parts involving her are gold, in my opinion.
Would hoping for this scenario be too much?

Sure, I don't think they would fall easy for something like this....still is one of the possibilities that can happen.

And I really don't know how NR will fight now with only three Teigu users.

I feel like the author really only has 2 ways to go with Esdeath. You either make her into more of a villain, or make her a more "acceptable" character. As she is now she's kind of inbetween in my opinion. Although I'm still in favor of Esdeath winning I don't see it happening unless she turns into a more "decent" person.

I think it will unlikely happen, since why bother making things complicated while they can crush them in one go if they know their base.

With the rest of WH and the army given by his father, Syura can easily outnumber and outpower the NR, let alone Esdese. While people talking about a rescue mission, what make me worry is a raid to their base. Rabac may have a will of steel, but those torture experts have plenty of ways to force things out, easiest to guest is Dorothea's alchemy and Kurome's necromancy. After they know the postion of the base, it's not a fight anymore, but an utter massacre. Actually, I don't know how many of the NR will survive this.
