Watching Girl meats girl and kampfer kind of made me curious to see more of this type of shows, i'm only interested in anime btw.

As for being actually turned into a girl, I suggest good old Ranma 1/2 and Cinderella Boy. Also, I think the currently airing Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu
would fit the bill (though I'm not watching).

I'd suggest cross-dressing genderbending since I haven't seen many genuine genderbending shows around

e.g. Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (and its 2012 spinoff) which I greatly enjoyed. I hear Maria Holic is similar.

As someone who IS watching Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu, that show is so stupidly funny and entertaining I can't get enough of it. I recommend checking it out.
