It's actually really clever of Sunrise to throw in an underwear speculation like this. After all, they are banned from showing pantishots on TV Tokyo. So they might as well promote rampant speculation on areas that they will never show anyway.

Story, n-n-n-not moving.
Though I guess they explaining a bit on Akiha's family and Itsuki was interesting(?).

The episode was
1. Two hotspring scenes out of nowhere (seriously, development-wise), came out of nowhere.
2. Retrieving a stolen part, resulting in comedic fun involving a headless knight playing around with heads, and two giant monsters fighting each other.

Something like that.
It's fun, as always, though the fanservice parts were boring. Not like you could see anything, and if you want to see skin/butt/whatever, they always show it with their ero-suits.

And as always, twintails blond stacking betrayal flags.

What happened to Sakura?... After Zero-bot tossed them out...

Uwa... Scum... Messing around with other people's (Zero-bot's) stuff like that...

It feels like Itsuki finally did some decent work, for once in a long while...

And then some giant chainsaw! Hah?! What the?

Yeah, lots of totally random stuff there. I was kind of hoping for more backstory than they gave us, maybe even some animation of it, but not much luck there. It was entertaining nonetheless. (If you can keep up with it. lol.) But boo on them going cheap and not animating it.

I like how just as Akiha was starting to ask "What's all this stuff about the Girl who Flies Through Space?" the critter jumps out and steals the doohickey, frustrating all of us who were wondering the same thing. Evil scriptwriters.

And yeah, lots of Nami going evil flags have been hit. They're really pounding us over the head with that with the least subtle of cluehammers.

Poor Min and Bou, they're just going to be in the Perpetually Royally Screwed column, I think. The giant chainsaw was weird, but I can't really say I'm surprised by what I see in this show anymore.

Min has great hair. That alone could be her secret weapon. Seriously, she could put someone's eye out with that 'do.

After the action in eps 6 and 7, this one was a little bit of a letdown, but the show is just getting back to its usual goofy pacing. I'm guessing 6 and 7 were more the exception than the rule for this series.

Looks like the next ep is going to be totally random as well. Going back to the previews on p. 28, I guess the "battle" to end it all isn't going to be what I thought it was. lol. Nice misdirection.
