I'm betting on the MC being connected to the unknown Green Yggdrasil from the light in the first ep, that explain why that dragon is unknown (appeared and then disappeared) and not resemble a living being.

Why does everyone say that something is bad simply for being unoriginal.
Not everybody reads every novel, so there is always an audience for it, or they would not sell any copies.

I happen to like reading stories more than once anyway, so reading one that is almost the same does not bother me.

It's true a lot of shows have similar settings, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. As long as they change enough things we still get a new experience, and the contrast to previous versions with different characters can be interesting as well.

I'm not reading the novels of this kind of serie, but you have to admit they make way too many anime with this rule, and that means Japan have way more stuff like ths who haven't received a anime.
This season is full of this stuff, seems like it get worse with time, they will have to stop in a while.

I mean harem battle magic. With one male in female school is being overused yes but i dont mind if the Mc has guts, female heroines are not at all cliches and history develope to a certain degree...
i like IS settings very much. Only i dont like ichika and the little guts harem have.
I like seirei tsukai too. In that case only i dislike to the core claire(for a tsun type i prefer mio from magika no kenshi. Or lizhe from bahamut)
so the problems dont lie in the set up but in charas themselves.
how many reincarnates or travellers to other world mc have now?
Is mushoku bad.? Remonster? Arifureta? Sayonara ryusei?

yeah i agree it has alot to do with how it is presented. This has alot of similarities to blade dance but with the 2 eps ive seen this already is better than that series.

I just wish it wasnt 1 guy with all girls. I wonder if these writers realize its ok to add in a few more male characters to pair up with some of the girls.

The creed of writers is that way....
1. Harem is for one and only one(Mc)
2. Female lead is better if she is the most tsun. Álso is good she is tsun+loli.
3. There will be always a better girl inside harem but she will be forgoten when her vol. Is done.
4. They never will have "action " better all the time cockblocked
5. Add one girl each vol even if she dont has screen time.
6 . Mc utterly useless. Even if he can "do it " with someone he retreat with nosense
7. Find a good erotic ilustrator, dont mind after all luzt win
8. Power-ups weirds(kissing, groping, etc) this way you can put a little more of fun,.., (dammit censored)
9. One of the girls will be mc sister(neechan or imouto is the same) but she loves mc and treat him poorly due zelaous.
10. If you can mix all of them and the people not end bored you will be very lucky and you sold a lot of ln

Harems are often written as "self inserts" for the viewer, so often the extra male character isn't more than the "perverted best friend" of the MC. After all can't have him be a serious rival to the MC when it comes to the girls that suddenly just have to have him!
